I came back from a trip today and I saw all your messages for my birthday (+300)
Being complimented and supported because of my art is one thing, being overhelmed by birthday wishes when most of you doesn't know me is another thing. That's so HUGE.
Internet his so powerful. 'Makes people to be close enough, yet living so far. I've met some people I've been talking for a long time before on the net through DA. By this way, I've built strong friendships too with frenchies at first, then sweet italian girlz, austrian, German, Spanish, Norwegian, English or U.S ones.... I've been travelling to met them or sometimes they came to France.
Am I the only one to be amazed by this magic?
Some people, by one or two words on my page made my world beautiful today !

Bonjour !!:yay: Il est temps de faire un peu de promotion pour les produits que vous pourrez trouver sur mon stand à Japan Expo !! :woot:

Ces produits/livres seront bien évidemment disponibles en VPC courant Juillet sur ma boutique en ligne, pour tous ceux qui ne peuvent participer à la convention !
Toutes les infos dont vous avez besoin sont sur cette petite présentation.
Pour ceux qui se posent peut-être la question: je ne dispose pas d'un terminal CB. Prévoyez du liquide/ou chèque -ou de la bouffe, avec un saucisson, des fois ça marche, je lâche un livre !!- (je le dis car mine de rien, on me le demande souvent sur place pour les CB/visa O3O;; )
Concernant les dédicaces> Rhalala je sens que vous me regardez tous là!< j'en ferai !!
Par contre et comme tous les ans, je vous demande un peu d'indulgence, je ne pourrai pas en prendre 70 par jour, il y aura sûrement des personnes à qui je vais dire "non"
IMPORTANTJe ne prendrai pas de dédicaces à récupérer "plus tard" (excepté pour les exposants qui sont comme moi vissés à leur stand et ne peuvent malheureusement pas se balader librement)
Je vous demanderai donc de garder votre livre et d'attendre au stand que je réalise les dédicaces des personnes avant vous .
Merci de votre compréhension, mais je ne doute pas que ce sera encore une fois très convivial et que ce sera un plaisir de vous rencontrer/revoir et de discuter un peu (tout en faisant des blagues nulles parce que j'aime ça)

I'm gonna open soon a new batch of 11€ inked portrait commissions. As i've said previously, I'm gonna try another system for choosing commissioners. it won't be "first arrived, first reserved". I'm okay to say it's quite unfair for all the people who have not the chance to be on DA at this moment , for all who are not in my time zone when I post my journal.
The next time I 'll make a sort of lottery. Waiting for 24h hours. People interrested in taking a slot would be in a list, and then I pick up some numbers randomly (with a virtual dice for example).
It will give a chance for all to get a slot .

I'm back !!

Here is an illustration I've made for *Moemai 's collective artbook "Myths and Legends"
I didn't post it before because I was unsatisfied by how it cames out. I've fixed some details and now I'm fine with it ^^.
I choose to depict one of the legends of my birth place: "la Vouivre".
It's a myth from the east of France appearing in 16th ans17th centuries texts. La vouivre (Wyvern) is described as a beautiful and wild woman (or a giant snake) wearing a big gem on the forehead or the neck. She commands to the snakes in the marshes where she lives, hidding some treasures. Many humans tried to steal her jewel when she swam in the pond( she takes of the gem before going to bath). Many humans perished from the snakes she called to protect her "precious".

I like this venomous tale. I like this terrible woman.

PS: My travel to Mexico and US turned really, really great and I enjoyed it very much! I've posted some photos on my tumblr ->[link]

A character created for our story "Djihanes". He's a soldier from the regular army. High born, his family is a great sustainer of the Queen Karma Dassarath. (Karma could be Maleficent in another story XD)
It's just a WIP, I will color it in the next coming days. The lightening might be different on the final version.

Little announcement if you don't know: there is a come back in 2013, it's the Totally Spies TV show for the season 6 !!
That's my current job, I work on this season as main charadesigner.
I've done this panel to promote the season 6 of TS in a professionnal TV shows market in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year.
2 days ago, I watched the first animation rushes with the vilain and new characters I've designed. 'Made me feel happy and proud, and strange X'D like "OMG they move!!"

What a pity that I can't put a Faust or a Cendre in some episodes, hidden in the character sheets!! X°DDD

An unusual (maybe uninterresting for you) submission this time because I would like to share my big big happiness!!
I met a few weeks ago, she's so incredible!
Sweet and funny, multi gifted (she's a great writer, a great historical dressmaker, a great celtic harpist, a great cooker, a kind person...Okay girl what's your secret?) and we spoke about my wish to get someday a 18th century gown. I dream about it since my 15 years old, but unfortunately, I didn't have any opportunity to make out this dream. Last year, I've commissionned a girl for a corset, someone known on several forums dedicated to historical costumes. She took my money and I've never got my order! (thank you again dear Eileen/Delphine ! u_u)
I was talking about that to *Arumorahe, and she tells me she could do this gown for me!
Here you have the WIP of the corset ( I never thought I could be so thin one day X'D)

This dream is now going to be true, I will never stop to thank you again and again Aru .

There is beautiful meeting in life, and beautiful people! It gives this world a lovely face

I'm finally working on Northern story, so I tried to make a portrait of Driall, one of the main characters of the first chapters.(and more XD because I like him!)
I'm developing is background at the same time.
As i've said on my first submission with him,
he's quite rigid and invested in his duty. He want/has to kill Faust and.... want to kill all people who will hide or help Faust. He has a quite small military mind X'D

In Djihane kingdom there is the regular army and a militia devoted to the god-hawk "Sahin".
The "Sahins" are monk and soldiers. They're very famous and considered by people. Become a Sahin is the highest honor you can get as a man. It also is really hard to join this army, because you've to be really upright, faithfull, and you've to sacrifice your life to the god Sahin.
Sabrak Sidrim was one of them, maybe the best from a long time. He was supposed to succeed to Saän Sala as head of the army.
A serious accident deprive him to the succession. Now one-armed, unable to fight as a soldier, he left the Sahins.

A little doodle to show you the main characters of our RP story "Djihanes" (called Burning Sands at the begining in fact, but there already is a "Burning sands roleplay" on internet XDD, i wanted to change the name to avoid any confusion!)

So let me introduce you our characters !!

Amunet -The Asu ( healer). (top left with the veil)
She is a strange and crual woman, she seems to have no empathy , no feelings for anybody. Shes mostly interrested by suffering, death, diseases and poisons.

Baldur -The northman. (the blond haired guy)
Hes a former prisonner from Djihane army. He won his freedom by saving djihane soldiers during a sandstorm. Hes now working in royal stud farm as an horseman.

Iris -The dancer. (Top right girl)
Shes a nomad. She lives in the desert with her brother Suleiman. When she was younger, she spent some month in the secret circle of Laet s priestesses. Thats why shes blind. The cult of Laet is one of the most darkest of Djihanes religion and the priestess are all blind to be enlightened to the invisible world of spirits. She still have a joyfull and strong nature and shes a great oriental dancer.

Sybille The courtesan. (left wine haired girl)
She has built his life by the lies and the theft. Shes searching for more riches, sometimes for power, using men and women with a puzzling easiness. Manipulator but not really happy at least. She has a certain own vision of "justice".

Sabrak The fallen. (center one-armed guy)
He was a famous warrior in the Sahin army but he lost his arm in a training accident, because of his brother Djaal. He left the Sahins and now he is a crook and a murderer. Hes deadly embittered by his broken destiny and asks for revenge.

Hes a Sahin warrior. Hes quite enjoyed and straight but hes still wearing the guilt to have destroyed his brothers life. He doesnt know how his brother turned bad when he left the army. He still has a great admiration for him.

Abyssiana -The poor blond princess. (the blondie girl)
Shes acting like a blondie all the time. Capricious as a little princess but not a bad girl. Shes almost a victim of her unlucky choices.

Suleiman The hawker. (bottom left with turban)
Like his sister, hes a nomad and travel a lot across the desert. Some years ago he saved her sister from the priestesses of Laet. Hes really concerned by his sisters well-being and takes care of her. More than he should, because he forgets to live his own life.

My little blondie girl !

Aby is the stereotype of the stupid blondie girl. She's not really clever, not really wily but she's quite spontaneous and naive. She has been overprotected by his father, and has a golden childhood far from realities of life.
At least she looks so sweet and she's so funny when she speak with all her superficiality !
I love her in fact! ^3^ (damn... maybe because she's blond and stupid as I am !)

Abyssiana and Baldur.
Aby cames from an aristocratic family, in fact one of the most wealthy families of Sibrasca. Her father, for her 20's birthday gave her a gorgeous white arabian stallion. Despite is noble birth, she becames infatuated with the ostler taking care of the animal, Baldur. (a tall Nordic and rough man!)

This is a preview of my new colored sketchbook coming for japan expo in july ! Full of oriental inspiration and yes...full of love and couples too !
