It was very much a group effort between myself and a few other individuals I work with at [link] . I helped by directing, aiding in establishing the style, creating a large portion of the artwork that appears in the piece, and I did a good chunk of the compositing and motion graphics work.

I had the lovely opportunity to art direct the 2D cinematics that appear in the Darksiders II video game (as well as storyboarding many of the 3D cutscenes). Along with art directing, I handled a large percentage of the illustrations, animation, and compositing. The great Joe Madureira himself supplied thumbnail boards! The above screenshots are some examples of my personal work on the project.

The project was a blast to work on, and I feel extremely lucky to have worked in tandem with the ridiculously talented crew at Vigil Games.

When I played Metroid and Super Metroid, I always viewed Samus as a hardass. Someone with a no-BS, somewhat military-esque attitude.
