It was taken using using a remote control to keep the camera steady and therefore the picture as blur free as posisble.It is also a self potrait.
The bullets are fake bullets you'd find on a keychain. There were cut in half with a hacksaw so they fitted better in my mouth, and also to use in other photoshoots.
The blood is entirely fake and is made using a mix of golden-syrup and red food colourings with small amounts od blue and green to make it slightly darker. This is to give it a viscous flow and sticky. It has no harmful effects when injested.
The image is not just a horror image, but has a concept behind it. The model is not simply meant to be holding bullets in their mouth, as it would imply being shot, but rather than the model is the dispenser of the bullets and therefore the blood of any victims.

Of course we are spreading word of the whole The Weekend to End Breast Cancer thing that you should read if you have missed the news so far. Resurgere is always down to join in on any charity action. The semi-official weekend css design did not blend with our css so we made a snazzy gfx instead, and we will keep the new avatar up for the weekend, and this upload, so hopefully we are doing our part and reach a few people. Get over there read the news, and help out if you can.

As for this image, it's a Flora + Insect series shot. It's not one I personally like very much, unless it's in black and white, but many people seem to respond well to it and like it, so maybe you'll enjoy it and make good stock out of it.

Well yes it's true I have a sad mega-pixel limit, but I also have Photoshop. And with some tender love 'n care, you can stitch up images and get a more or less seamless result. Like this one photo. There are some minor glitches but at this size it does not matter.

And now your whining, "But why would anyone need stock this huge?" Well it's simple, the higher the resolution the more options you have editing the stock. Makes better printable reference, has more options scaling in relation to other stock, has more over all details, and plenty other benefits. i mean, it took around 20 scans! had to put my scanner on the floor, and create all
these little braces to hold it up. the thing ways around 100 pounds! when i started
putting it together piece by piece, the file at one point was over 1 GIG BIG! broke
my old record actually. i could literally hear my G4 groan! of course i was running
a few other apps other than photoshope at the same time,...quark, illustrator, iTunes, firefox, etc, etc,...heh.
i'm serious when i say i have some packages coming. and one will be dedicated to the
best parts of this marble.

anyway,...that's it for now.
