Origin O Ka Fee

Here is one of my interpretation for a french Artbook project "BEURK!" Brainwashers edition -

A fight between two mythical symbols, origins of legends . The Unicorn and the Dragon are two royal symbols, one is pure the another one evil....

Origin is too an infinite loop, it's a start but who knows how it would end ?...

The BEURK!'s project consists of more of 30 artists under the same theme "Origin" !

Voici une de mes interprétations du thème pour un projet d'artbook français "BEURK!" Brainwashers

C'est une bataille entre deux symboles mythiques, origines de légendes . La Licorne et le Dragon sont deux symboles royaux, l'un est la pureté, l'autre le malin.
L'Origine est un début, mais qui sait ce qu'elle va réellement engendrer dans l'avenir ?..Qui gagnera ?...

"BEURK!" est un projet réunissant plus de 30 artistes de tous horizons ! Notre but est de promouvoir un artbook de qualité qui sera en vente dans les grandes conventions. Des Univers et interprétations différentes.

FAQ : Qu'est ce que O Ka-Fée ?

Perch'd on a lofty oak,

'Ha! how do you do, Sir Raven?
Well, your coat, sir, is a brave one!

So black and glossy, on my word, sir,

Well fit to be the Phoenix of these days.'

Sir Raven, overset with praise,
Must show how musical his croak.
Down fell the luncheon from the oak;
Which snatching up, Sir Fox thus spoke:--

'The flatterer, my good sir,
Aye liveth on his listener;
Which lesson, if you please,
Is doubtless worth the cheese.'

A bit too late, Sir Raven swore
The rogue should never cheat him more.

Another dragon for the book project, wanted to done a black dragon with some cliché, evil, on skulls, blood and bad breathe. (Sexy, isn't it ?)

I just finished my work on it ! New dragon, with a little kind of anatomy study. With the skull head and some muscles of the neck.
Rather difficult to imagine muscles on a fantasy creature.

And yeap, still for my book project !

Quick work for a theme about "Noise" . I thought about the gulls and black gulls when they are fishing. So much noisy !
I wanted to mixed with the theme "Silent" with the fishes too.

Swanna O Ka Fee

SWANNA USE AQUA RING !

A pokemon from the 5G drawn at a french convention. I love so much Swanna ! He is one of my favorite pokemon from this generation ! So elegant !

So I decided to paint him, because it's one of my actual pokemon team.

Here is my little K-Anaf, a joyful and pleasant pokemon, who loves bathe under trees.

Un Pokémon de la 5G, que j'apprécie énormément pour son côté très élégant.

J'ai décidé de le dessiner car il fait parti de mon équipe pokémon actuelle et ne risque pas d'en repartir !

K-Anaf est un Lakmécygne de nature joviale et très agréable, il n'hésite pas à se lancer face à n'importe quelle épreuve et adore aussi se prélasser sous les arbres en flottant paisiblement sur l'eau.

Composition realized from recycling of packaging of my watercolors blocks .
It's a cardboard support, which protected sheets.
The colored coffee's stains settled according to my paintings. I added nothing except deers and some details.

Because recycle, is good.

Les tâches de café colorées se sont déposés au fur et à mesure de mes peintures. Je n'ai rien ajouté excepté les cerfs et quelques détails.

Ouroboros O Ka-Fee

And here is a new O Ka-Fee ! I needed to update a little my gallery.

I chose to treat Ouroboros subject this time, I like very much this creature.
I wanted to represent it not the jaw closed on its tail but as ready to swallow it !
This dragon maintains its tail to swallow its extremity in sign of end and revival.

I wanted also to see it in a set a little more celestial but very colored as an aurora borealis.Its hair represents moreover this unlimited sky, in the even aquatic brilliant colors...
As if it was the embodiment of all elements: Wind (He lives in the sky), Water (move in undulation), Fire (its nature of dragon or snake), Earth ( His born link).

I know that it's not the traditional representation, it's a personal choice

The Plagues O Ka Fee

Hiya !

I wanted to try something different . So here is a speedpainting with a dragon...
When I heard the word "Plagues" I wanted just to try to do a drawing with it.

A long time ago, I had a book with how take care of a dragon, and in this book, they talked about some diseases . I remember that some of them were really glaucous. Poor dragons.
But it was just a book.

Je voulais essayer un sujet différent, un peu plus sombre. Même si j'ai déjà exploité le sujet parfois, ici je pousse un peu plus loin que auparavant.

C'est donc un speedpainting inspiré par le terme "The Plagues" qui m'évoque un thème assez répandu mais intéressant dans le fond.
L'idée s'est aussi accompagnée par un livre que j'avais il y a longtemps, pour s'occuper d'un dragon et dedans il y avait des maladies plutôt glauques.

Here the final version of Suicune ! Was very funny to do it, I am happy that it pleased so much !

I wished to give a side more equine side to this pokemon because in the cartoon, he is represented on the frescoes of the legendary such traditional kind Kirin/Kilin.
So I never saw him as a dog ... I don't understand why they are considers as dogs.

Goodbye little Suicune, have an happy life with your trainer !

Hiya !

Another O Ka-Fée work.

A small envy to draw a young dragon, I enjoyed really the idea. I wanted a dominance of red and the natural coffee's color.
This time, few colors, just some gradations...

And I inked after paintings. I prefer undoubtedly the other method.

I hope you will enjoyed it, I love his simpleton expression.

Hi !

This time, here another kind of painting...Food painting ! Yes, food.

List of the ingredients:

- Rat: inking soy sauce [Failure] - > Inking Indian ink
Viandox (a kind of salty sauce meat flavor) for the color of the coat + pepper for texture.
Wings in eggs shells.

- Background : Coffee+ sugar + curry + tabasco red/green + chili powder + pepper + salt + vinegar -

Ce petit dernier a été entièrement réalisé avec des composants comestibles alimentaires ! Oui oui, vous avez bien entendu.

Il est pour un concours, sur le forum Allfanarts.

Voici la liste des ingrédients :

- Rat : Encrage sauce soja [Echec] -> Encrage Encre de chine
Viandox pour la couleur du pelage + poivre pour texture.
Ailes en coquilles d'oeuf.

-Décor : Café + sucre + curry + tabasco rouge/vert + poudre de piments + poivre + sel + vinaigre (côté droit)

It had been a long time since I wished a small image of couple in my coffee's series .
I thought that coffee can get closer to certain feelings once affixed on a sheet.
