This is painted over last month and this month, i was working on this on and off : ) I wanted to start incorporate a bit of background in my work again, I missed painting a full painting in a way , so it was fun working on this I guess what i had in my mind when I was painting this was that she lost someone she loved and she wanted a cast a spell to bring him/her back XD

Some doodling leading to more refined work, This is mostly experimental. I experimented with different type of texture in this painting, like the metallic patterned tubes on his back/ the helmet, which is sort of merged into his hair XD all in all, this was fun.
Ps. thank you for all the feedbacks I got for my Miku poster idea, I'm taking the suggestions and try to make it as awesome as possible XD

Korra print for Otakuthon : )I feel like this is not my best work, I was trying to go for a more dynamic pose, I wanted to try something new. I had lost of fun with the new brush I made by useing texture and dual brush option in photoshop. this was a good experimental piece. there are a lots of room for improvements for sure.

I was thinking many things when I was painting this, I wanted to make her hair melt or somewhat sway with the space of almost frozen water....to me colors is one of the elements that creates an image so I decided to give her rainbow hair...I also had fun textured the environment around her.

She's not the original snow white, the one with the black hair... maybe she's another version of her in another dimension or something XD;; I tried different color hair and I think this color goes pretty well,,,,sometimes its nice to try out different combination of colors and see what you like best.

Just painting for fun, inspired by the "Snow White and the Hunts men"Movie. It's not so great on the story line but awesome in costume design and CGI *_*

just a redesign of the elf assassin from some of the feedback I received from previous version( thanks guys) . Before I envisioned her as an elf, but I think she look awesome as a fallen angel/demon XD;;. not sure yet, might make her a an elf again.
I had fun experimenting with the textures, I think I'll incorporate more textures in my future pieces : ).

Update: resubmitted from last night, adjusted the image a bit.

portrait for a character I'm developing for my portfolio.
Her story goes something like this XD: She's a elf orphan that was taken in by the humans soldiers when she was still a child. Since she was a very agile and had potential of being more than a slave, they decided to train her to become an assassin.
In the portrait she's around 25.

I'll be working on a full-body concept later on : )

Wanted to draw something light and friendly. This is Griff, Tonys pet griffin XD theyre best friend. Tony always carries 1 or 2 or 3 apples with him for Grif who loves to eat them. Griffs wings are not fully developed so he cannot fly very high. the 3 transparent cats are imagination spirits that lingers in the image, just something random XD

Sakura Demon Warrior

Just a random concept, samurai inspired, mostly vector work on the outfit on top of a base digital sketch : )
Since she's blind, he wears the helm, she was born from the remains of a corpse once concealed under a sakura tree. The lost soul could not rest from the brutal murder and so her hatred for the murderer kept bottling up until she was reborn from the sakura tree...XD. My friend told me of a similar japanese legend and I though it was really cool.

ps. I wasn't trying to be realistic. The character's proportions were stretched and stylized. I find exaggerating realism is fun and makes the image less realistic and more fantasy-ish. which was what I was going for : )

pocahontas from disney, had this somewhere in my wip folder, finally decided to Finish it, I've always been fascinated by her face structure, I love her refined jaw line and her slightly slanted eyes. I admire her spirit, she's not like any standard disney princesses and because of that she's in my top 3 female disney character if not first. I based this portrait off of a scene in the movie when they first meet *_*

edit: made her look a bit less european and added a bit more texture to her skin.

ps. I'm not trying to make her realistic, her face is stylized to the disney version.

wanted design a character with a bit of futurism si-fi feel .
Her back story was that she was once human but after dying at a young age, her body was given to the secret government program that usually takes the remains of certain deceased and "revive them with artificial technology. and since they were already considered "dead"and identity-less they were made into secret agents or spies . Her Code name is Medus,her hair is made of tough ma liable material, and is in penetrable by bullets or beams XD;;;

Her Name is Zan, Shes of american and chinese decent. Shes bacially my own mascot. A friend of My other character, griffin boy.

no one really know where she came from, but people always known her for her carefree ways. She doesnt take shit from no one and loves to ware what she wants to wear, Shes a street child.Since She has a strong sense of self justice, if she sees someone being cruel to someone else shell have the urge to beat the crap out of them.Oh yeah, she loves music and loves to wear her headphones everywhere just like me lol.

Shes basically someone I would be if I was in a fictional world *_*My other personal sort of.

Passing Through . version 2

This is the second version of this spirit.
this is actually my original idea, I wanted this dog like creature to be more of a white fur-d creature with tints of green.

I also included some small things in this image such as the glowing plants emerging from it's footsteps, sort of like in Princess Mononoke with the forest spirit*_*
