CUSTOM SKETCH CARDS

I am offering one-of-a-kind, personalized sketchcards on my Etsy shop: Michael Link Illustration

Custom Sketchcard commissions are for colored or greyscale rendered sketchcards only.

Materials include:
- Pen and brush ink
- Marker (currently Prismacolor and Deleter)
- Colored Pencil as accent/contour
- Acrylic Paint
- 2.5" x 3.5" Bristol Board cards

I will do most notable characters from anime, comic books, and TV shows in either manga or comic style. I also do custom portraits and caricatures with a provided photo. Original characters are also accepted so long as you provide me with a detailed description or picture.

If you have a specific pose or color request, please include that in the notes. If none are requested, I will take artistic license. I will not do sketchcards with excessive nudity, sexual situations, or graphic violence/gore. The decision will be at my discresion.

Alan Scott, the original Green Lantern. I'm a big fan of Golden Age heroes and he was one of the best. Not too fond of the Earth-2/New52 version of him. I'm totally cool with him being gay, but he just feels like a different guy with the same name. However, I doubt many people that read him before would be reading it now. Ah well.

This one turned out the best of the bunch. Still getting used to drawing on a tiny, tiny card!!

Kyle Rayner, the one most artists can appreciate (when he's not being terribly emo). This guy was too cool back in the 90s, especially when Hal was all grey haired and grumpy (and Guy was getting all poochy on everyone).

I had attempted some contour lines in colored pencil, but the scanner made the colors look a bit off. The entire thing is really saturated in parts and the colored pencils look a bit dustier than usual. I'll probably re-upload it when I get the settings corrected.
