all this time i've kept crying cause my best friend is not my friend anymore. he doesn't want to talk to me anymore.
something like that already was in november 2008.
but now i feel this is THE END and i can't change anything in this situation, cause now some things in our relationship have changed completely...because of him.

he's the best i've ever known in my life and i'm so grateful to him for all the time he spent with me, it was the best time in my life. i'll miss our talks...but i can't help it.

and now i've decided one thing. yes, it's very painful for me to realize he's not my friend anymore...but i'll be strong and i'll move on. it was just a period of my life when he was by my side, and now it's not. he's not always been there and everything has to end one day....i'll never forget him. but i'll try to move on, on my own.

i almost never use big aperture amounts for macro shots, but here it is f11 to get the DOF that i wanted.



And just a personal note, i think my feelings are related with this shot a bit. it's about endings and concequences.

i can cry.
i can make myself smile.
whatever - it doesn't really matter.
things won't be the way they used to.
and i can't help it. i can't do anything to change the situation.
i've tried to do all that i could. but it doesn't matter now.
time a year ago is alredy gone, it's just a thing of the past, a reminiscence.
and it's no worth trying to bring back what used to be.
i feel sorry for this, cause i see how everything just falls apart and i can't even hold it 'cause

i feel so upset lately
i pretend it's ok, but i absolutely can't find WHAT to live for...
i feel so lost and distracted
there's a lot of sunshine now, it's spring and everything's so bright...but i feel nothing for it. i think - yeah, i can capture another photo...but all this beauty doesn't bring me joy and touch my soul for there's too much coldness and carelessness inside. Not because i'm such a cold and careless person. I'm not. Only because the one i love doesn't need my love and i still regret it and i still can't strike him out out my life. This is the most painful to me. I can resign myself almost with everything but not with it.
But the worst is yet to come

Thanks to my scanner it looks worse than in reality, 'cause scanners always seem to have some problems with reproducing the details when drawing is light and has a lot of subtle details.
However, it looks like this now and i can't help it.

I started it at the end of August if i remember it right and it was unfinished all this time. Today i added details to her hair and i think i've done with it.

I used 3B, 8B pencils, tissue to make the shading, eraiser to make hair and color pencils for lips and eyes. Some details to the lips were added with white acrylic with thin brush, 'cause just white pencil was no good for it.

Size is 21x21 cm (about 8x8 in)
I don't know exactly, but i think it took about 15 hours.
