It&#146;s a really fun paranormal/steampunk novel taking place in Victorian England, full of virile werewolves, dandified vampires, mystery, romance, gadgets, tea, hats, and parasol guns.  What&#146;s not to love?<br /><br />I had a blast not only reading it, but working on the doll.  Undergarments, clothing, accessories, and hair are accurate to 1873.  Every dress is from the book, and without giving too much away, a few of the accessories play key roles!  Read the book to find out more!  Seriously! I was literally thinking about this all the time.  I even had dreams of assembling and coding.<br /><br />I always wanted to picture my favorite hero while reading Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer and others.  I made this, in hopes other people wanted to as well.  And ever since Lost in Austen, I HAD to.  Just had to.<br /><br />So, here it is, as accurate as I could make it, even including those weird cossask pants and ankle trousers, sigh.<br /><br />I&#039;m no genius at coding -- there were some serious flaws that I tried my best to work around.  But my goal was for the guy to look good once all the items were on him (or off, muahaha -- though I gave him a package that rivals the Ken doll).  Hopefully it worked!<br /><br />OH -- And miliary experts, please don&#039;t bayonet me -- I have no idea how accurate the guns and uniforms are, I just wanted them to look cool.  The army uniform is based off of several Mr. Wickhams -- and I believe the navy uniform is for a naval commander.<br /><br />If you see any serious mistakes, please let me know! If you see lavendar gloves, and suddenly remember what author mentions them often in her books, kudos!<br /><br />Print patterns from squidfingers.com<br /><br />Drawn in Manga Studio, colored in Photoshop, assembled in Flash.<br /><br />Edit:  Ach, hopefully third time&#039;s a charm.<br /><br />New Edit:  I noticed that the petticoats didn&#039;t line up with a few of the dresses, so I added a code to compensate for it.  Hopefully it&#039;ll be all right. My first preloader!  And they snap!  Except for a few select items I wanted to keep movable for creativity&#039;s sake... and allowance for the different hair.<br />

I personally would have loved to have everything on separate pages, and the options for her hair to be clickable, as well as a bunch of other options.  I understand things in theory, but for now it&#039;s beyond me.  For now, we&#039;ll just have to deal with the cramped space.<br />

...Maybe a third version down the road.<br />
