Chased this little guy across the grass for about half a block. Every time I would get close, he would fly further away. Finally got him to sit still for about 3 seconds. Long enough for me to get a shot, but not long enough to change the camera over to 3:4 instead of the 1:1 I had previously had the camera set on.. So he lost his tail. He is on a blade of grass.

Walking into a Target store, about half way across the parking lot, and this dragonfly lands on me.... WtH!!! I tried to shoo him away, but he would not let go. So I walk into the store with this dragonfly on me, I use the ATM, and I walk back out. He still didn't want to fly away.

I needed to get back in the car, and didn't want him on me, so I finally got him in my hand, and he was sluggish, and didn't seem right. I sat him in the passenger seat, rolled down all the windows and begun to drive home.

He didn't move all the way home. Arrived home, he still didn't move, managed to get him out of the car, brought him inside and set him on the counter in the kitchen, went to check on him half hour later and he was dead. He hadn't moved an inch. Just sat there and died..

I think he picked me to die on. ]]>

At about 3am Momma Possum decided to take the kids back home, so they loaded up on her back and off they went..

As I was taking pictures kneeling in the doorway, I was looking to my right at another baby, I heard a noise and looked to my left, only to see this little one looking me right in the eyes at about 6 inches away.

I reeealy wanted to pet the little ones, but I know enough to leave wild animals alone. Touch with your camera, not your hands.

As I walked up, she was just about to sit back down on them, but not before I saw at least 8-10 large eggs. She sat there quietly while I took her photo.
