I&#039;m very picky about comics I read just because world is full of really good comics and there&#039;s not enough time to read them all.  I nearly made a pass on FMA because 75% of it is the usual manga bollocks of massive fights that go on for pages and omg bad guys that nobody can kill except our heroes who at the last second when all hope is lost come through for us. Yadda yadda blaaaagh.  But 25% is delightful dialogue and genuine characters that will make you laugh and cry (no spoilers but I wept absolute buckets when a certain character died) and so far the story has been holding it all together.  Plus it&#039;s very nicely drawn and 25min episodes of the anime are perfect to have play on the background while feeding baby. Here's the one and only My Little Pony I ever had as a kid, which is weird considering how much of a nutter I was for everything horse-related until I turned 14 and became an animation nutcase instead. Don't misunderstand me though, I had about thirty generic brand/fake my little ponies but she was the only genuine one. She was called Applejack and I got her for my 7th birthday. The 12th year students leave school at the end of February to have time to prepare for their final exams and the day after they have left the 11th year students celebrate being the oldest kids in school. There are no normal classes, you show up in the morning wearing your chosen costume/suit/dress and spend the day roaming around classrooms, giving candy to "little kids" and just generally having a laugh. It's called day of the "Wanhat" which literally means "Ye olde". <br /><br />In the afternoon you dance for the entire school and in some places also nearby elementary/grade schools come to watch if it's convenient to do so. In the evening there's the ball for you and all parents/close family. When it was my turn I went for a medieval style blue dress (I was going through a major medieval period fandom at the time.. mostly thanks to Kaari Utrio's totally awesome historical adventure romance books), year later my little sister went for a green rococo dress. Our aunt made them both and went a little crazy at times but got there in the end. Around the same time Tanya drew this awesome re-working of the Three Muskehounds which happened to be my childhood cartoon #1:<br /><a href="http://enolianslave.deviantart.com/art/one-for-all-and-all-for-one-127514571">[link]</a><br /><br />Inspired by all the muskehounds talk I drew my version, it&#039;s not a reworking or anything, I&#039;m far too conventional for that and it&#039;s very loosely based on the cover of a copy of The Three Musketeers I had as a kid.  When I say loosely based, I really mean it, I&#039;ve not seen the book cover in well over fifteen years now and all I remember is a bunch of musketeers sitting around campfire or candle or something looking at a map or maybe a letter.  Like said, loosely based.   Taken me a while to scan in and do any colours, life has been pretty hectic lately.  I&#039;m not particularly happy with the colours either but don&#039;t really have the time for anything better right now.
