They let you know which parts they like / don't like, and possibly how the piece made them feel.

Comments such as "Great work!" "Awesome" don't fall into ei ]]> It gives some tips of how to get feedback from commenter's who leave the renowned "great work!" comments. Obviously, if you're happy with those, then that's fine!
