Flame hounds (shut up) have been around forever because a very very important character from the KG world is one, but I've never finished the specifics behind their species. I didn't want another original canine species in my world, but I didn't want to change the important character ): Since he was originally a pet on a pet website, I had to work around his canine-ness.

It's weird, I majorly prefer Rhesus's picture to this one, even though in the sketching/planning/shading stages, I liked this one waaaaay more. Wheird.

Took a break and did some personal art for myself so I don't get too overwhelmed with commissions xD;

And because this has been in my head for a few days and demanded to be drawn.
I streamed a majority of this, thanks to everyone that kept me company
And distracted me so that the shading took forever xDD
I'll probably be streaming again today so look out for that~

I hate how his muzzle turned out, but other than that I actually like this piece, weird. Though I don't think I've ever drawn a background that bright.
Though I'm still working on the brother's designs, but I am okay with Salem's .. top half? chest-up?

So I continued it with Sai!

I had to giggle when Sai's sexuality was revealed in the comic. I hadn't realized gay animal characters were so rare in the comic world over here, and people asking me "I THOUGHT SAI WAS A MALE WAIT WHAT?!" was kind of hilarius.
But like I've said before, sexuality doesn't mean much to KG and very few of them consider themselves to even have one. Sai's one of the few where I can say he does actually care what gender his mate would be. He likes dem men!

Jasper and Genkai
I needed an image of Jasper for his charahub page. And I dunno. This episode came on and I was all ;u; ..Genkai is his bbbff! Other KG think their relationship is weird as fuck.
I also needed to decide better on Jasper's design. I was happy with it before, but he didn't really look that related to Genkai P: Which.. they're only half brothers so it wouldn't be weird, but it bothered me.

Paper texture gotten from.. ahhh somewhere. I saved a bunch forever ago and they're just sitting on my harddrive..

WHOOPS. Back to commissions!

There's something about this cover I don't quite like but I can't put my finger on it.. I think it's the color of the background, but nothing I changed it to looked any better to me. But oh well! Moving on!

Captain is a full color, vertical-style, adventure/romance comic.
It is set in Canada, following the character Amase, a grey wolf and.. well, I really don't like doing summaries so you'll have to read to find out~
That's right, Trik's doin' a romance P:
I got a few comments suggesting I do a romance story.. and it wasn't hard to make this story I already had in the works go that way. I've never written something like this, so I guess we'll see how it goes!

(But of course there's still action and adventure in it because straight romances bore me to tears!)

Uhh I think that's all I have to say xD; I finally got apoxie sculpt so I'm going to go back to sculpting now >:K

Guess I'm going to finally start uploading Captain-related things, since I have four pages done now xD;

Captain has been by side project/derping around/practice thing for a while now P: It's been nice for practice, but I think it's time to start uploading stuff from it since I won't be updating Marked as I finish the first chapter.

I'm a little tenative to update these things, because I dont want the stress to catch up with me and ruin the fun of drawing the pages P: But I'm going to try anyway!

Looking back, really not happy with the forest part of the background P: But whatever, I did this god knows how long ago and I wasn't up for redoing everything!

We could be happy..

Done as a warmup twice before drawing P: Finished because I wanted to practice cell shading. Like all my cell shading practice attempts, it didn't stay that way. And turned out derpy. W/e, its just a doodle.
Inspired by randomly thinking of a comment I got a while back of somenoe saying they were disappointed in the lack of feeling in the "family" show in Marked. Derp derp!

This is probably what Kayla thinks about. Living in the KG is harsh relationship wise, but maybe in another world.. Maybe Chigaru wouldn't have killed her puppies, maybe Genkai wouldn't hate her. Maybe they could be a happy family.

Fun Facts:
-While drawing this Machati kept walking by and hissing P: (She's not a GenkaixKayla fan, lmao)
-Realized while lining, Chigaru ended up as the only one with his eyes open! (In the sketch, both puppies and Genkai did..) Weird how that happens. Unintentional symbolism maybe?

Anyways, you can fin this unhappy family in my comic ~

Ummm idk. I did this FOREVER ago during a LS and realized while going through some files the other day that I never uploaded it.. I had never planned to because I don't upload my humans to the public.. but it was done for Machati and I realized she never got to see it finished >3<'' and we're in seperate states for the holidays, so I thought I'd better go and upload it.

I really dont like this for the most part. I did it to practice shading and because I really liked Genkai's doghead. Then ended up adding all the other stuff.. Its also a few months old so there's that.

And so while deciding on what I should do Machati told me I should do a character pride flag drawing xD I started with Chigaru holding the pansexual flag c:
His sexuality isn't important to anything in the comic (Once again I'll say Marked is NOT a romance comic..), but it's important to him as a character to me >u<

P: I want to do more of my characters holding their respective sexuality flags if I get the time..

Cats of Marked

This started out as some random practice of Marked-cat faces I wanted to do |D;; Then I tested a new lineart type. Then I tested shading.
and here we are.
Rose, Lionel, and Mio from my comic, which you can read over here~

The cats are some of my favorite characters in the comic. The dogs get monotonous sometimes because they all have similar personalities - but that's what KG's are, can't be helped! But the cats are all entirely different from each other, from their anatomy to their personalities. I tired to show that in these practice drawings >:

Marked: Giza Map

The map of fictional Giza, Egypt where Marked takes place~ Read Marked and see more about the universe over here > Click on the cover to read the comic!

I decided I was tired of magically moving buildings in the comic so I made a map to concrete where the characters are (which will take effect around ch3 page 16 or so) I was going to name all the different streets, but then I looked at Giza's REAL street names and of course they weren't in English. So fuck it, they aren't named.

The map is totally subject to change as I play around with the universe, so I'll edit it when I make changes. So far everything is fairly color-coded to different characters for my convenience >u<

Even though Im sure I'll get comments about it;
Obviously the geography isn't like the real Egypt. Never been there, and a few tourist snapshots do not an accurate picture make, so I didn't even try when making Marked. It's completely fictional, different universe, all that jazz >u<' Hence what is actually the Nile river has a different name. The flag is also different, but still similar to the real Egypt's.

Been sitting on this for a week now.. when I got home from college touring my internet was out :I Awesome.
Anyway, this, again, started out because I was like MUST DO SOMETHING FOR MYSELF D8< this wasn't.. quite what I was going for, but I kept working on it little by little over a few weeks -0-' So I might as well upload..

Man I suck at logos. I still like the design of it - what I've been using since the beginning - but my skills on actually making it suck ass. OH WELL. It'll have to do >:[

MY GOD I CAN FINALLY UPLOAD THIS GNADINADAD

This gave me so much trouble.. >:C I just wanted to make a double-sided bookmark for myself using SAI for the first time.. but I ran into so many problems. But during trying to get this done I managed to fix my printer ene.. oh the lengths I go to sometimes. Next time I'm letting office max print, cut, and laminate it all themselves D8 It'll come out better.
I wish the photos of the actual printed/laminated one came out better.. but shiny things just dont photo well x__x;; I must accept this. It really does look nice, though.

Colton, a search and rescue from the Guard, and Chigaru and Genkai's cousin. Changed the eye color on his design o0o Brown just didn't work well. Grey is much better.
Although I wish I had shaded them better |: But oh well.

I was hell-bent determined to finish this in one day |:< Its been sitting around for almost a week now.

A bit of concept art ish? I dont have many finished images of the KG characters >:
I think this is actually the first image I've released of Rose. She wont appear for another few chapters.

I keep fighting with myself over whether I like this or not. I like the shading, but I hate how.. big she looks. She looks so feral; not much like a delicate Soraya v__v; I failed myself. But then again, she's supposed to be a little thick.

Anyway c: No BG because I'm using this for something. And the shading just looks so much better without it.
Also don't be fooled, Soraya's aren't fighters, nor do cats usually stand on their hind legs to fight.

idk something I did while breaking from projects ene;; Its terrible, but I just wanted to actually lineart and color an animation. It was more annoying than i thought it would be, which is why theres inconsistancies and ... well its crappy. Theres shading in his eye thats bugging me, but hell if i"m going to edit 5 layers to fix it.
I could have added more frames to make it more fluid, but I didnt really care e3e Maybe I'll edit it eventually.

...so yea. Made the logo big for no real reason. I just did.

Edit: ~~Woahhhh.. I have no idea why my watermark at the bottom is flashing.. But I think it looks kind of cool so I dont think I'll fix it <3<~~
Edit2: Decided it was too distracting. Fixed!

A different style I've been doodling in :C
I've always had a little secret. That I want to draw more.. cartoony. Draw with a style that VanillaKitsune and Blueshinewolf can do. It eats me up that I can't do a convincing disney style - things like that, I mean - and I've always hated my style. It's not flexible - expressions suck to do with my style. ginadi. Its so frustrating in comics.

But whatever :C I love drawing KG's like this because of their anatomy. ;u; I dont usually upload them, I just kind of wanted to see what anyone thought.

...random KG is random. I dont know what to do with her ono; God knows I do not need another character.
Got the brushes from.. somewhere ene;; I downloaded them a whiiiile ago.

Wahhh I hate this so much ;v; I looveddd the sketch, but I'm so disappointed in how everything else came out :/ Oh well. This was basically a practice in poses I'm going to have to get used to while doing Marked. And Im really trying to do big illustrations besides little pages D:

So I present Chigaru getting pwned by Raptor. There's a reason they aren't wearing harnesses; but this is basically a scene from the comic that I just rlywantedtodraw so yea ono
Hate how Raptor's face turned out. vuv I could never get it to look right, but I love Chi. Raptor also turned out too small.. During the sketch I enlarged her and it looked right, but for some reason after the coloring she just looked so much smaller. Oh well!

This will be the second ever fanart I've done for another artist xD; I FEEL REALLY WEIRD SUBMITTING THIS. It's rare that I do this, but I found and got fangirly all over Damien's design >: His colors reminded me of Chigaru, then I thought "wouldn't it be funny if these two had a faceoff?" After all, their both big characters in a yet-to-be-released comic.
Hope I got Damien right :C I love his glowy markings; Im sad he ended up in a pose where I didnt really get to draw them.

While sketching I realized I've been drawing KG's so much I forgot how to draw wolves e____e; wtf. So Chi looks like a wolf :C Oops. Oh well. Damien also looked a lot better without highlights, but then looked weird next to Chigaru, who looks better with them.. bah!
Can anyone tell I dont draw grass often? DDD
