I'm not a fan of the Sontarans, their episodes back in season 4 wer quite disappointing ; they're definitely not my favorite vilains.
Though, i had a hour to kill and i was looking for another Doctor Who poster to make (check my gallery for poster of the Daleks [link] and the Cybermen [link] ).

Inspired by a certain video game design, i reproduced the concept of monster hunter-killer to the universe of Doctor Who.
So if you feel like hunting down Daleks and counting points, this is for you !
i thought the (now) old version of the Daleks from 2005 suited this illustration better than the 2010 version.

Download the files and then do whatever you want with them (stickers for cars or books, t-shirt logos, mugs...).

I first wanted to figure the hat, but as a shadow it was better off without it. The Fifth Doctor had a recognizable haircut, so it works as well without the hat.

Black leather -9th-

A wallpaper dedicated to the Ninth Doctor, with a quote from episode "The Unquiet Dead" refering to the costume of the Doctor (back in the 19th century he was thought to be a "navy").

I tried to emphasise the most particular piece of this modern costume, which is the large old black leather jacket. The ninth Doctor was, in my opinion, a really brave choice, very out of the box. The physique of Christopher Eccleston and his clothes made him a really unique Doctor, a smart choice to restart the new series. In comparison, the suit of David Tennant is a much more classic Doctor Who look.

Suit and trainers -10th-

A wallpaper dedicated to the Tenth Doctor, with a quote from the first trailer of the third series.

I have a clear preference for the Doctor's brown suit, the one with stripes. His blue suit is interesting for the dark red tie and Converses, but too common. As I was working with shadows only, I chose to represent the brown suit because the stripes could help to figure where the pants starts and where the coat ends.
This costume was a really wise choice, classic yet modern, that made him look like some kind of adventurous intellectual. A "geek chic" Doctor, an awesome costume that fitted David Tennant really well.
Finaly, the most remarkable aspect of the 10th Doctor is... the hair ! David Tennant's crazy and awesome hairs, so symbolic of his incarnation.
I'm gonna miss him next year.

Still, I wouldn't say bow ties are fashionable.

At first i really didn't like this new costume, David Tennant's outfit was perfect, the new one looks so... old fashionned. But i admit, it fits Matt Smith pretty well.
