SO this was a piece for an SF book we released that got yanked out so that it could be put in a gallery instead. Why they couldn't do both I have no idea since now when that book comes around I've got nothing to sign lol.

Either way, the symbolism is where I started my career with the legends series and how the chronology works in the SF universe. "SF chronology" is a very very loose term BTW.

Juri is my favourite character storywise, with Ibuki as second. It would be kind of cool to do a Juri Legends story, but I would want to write it lol. I should do another "Ask Ibuki" strip or two i think.

hey guys there goes the image I done long time ago for the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Art Tribute. Time goes rly fast, still remember the first time I played street fighter I in arcades and of course still remember the first time I played Street Fighter II. SF games are been to me not only fun time playing with friends, also a big source of inspiration on art with great artists working in the games, like the Legendary Akiman, Bengus, Nishimura, Shoei, Ikeno, etc.

I hope you like this little tribute It just started with Chun-Li and Ryu sharing a gift, but later a friend told me:
-what if Chun-Li give him a pair of shoes?
-That´s stupid dude, why Ryu would need a couple of shoes? it will kill part of the character personality and design
-Well, he travels a lot on foot and maybe Chun-Li dont care about "Design" and also, maybe she is not good choosing gifts for her friends.

So some of you may know, I have been taking digital painting courses over the past 30 days learning some awesome art fundamentals and photoshop techniques!

I've been getting requests to post some of my homework assignments, so here's one of them. They were showing us painting techniques for leather, so I decided to go with C.Viper! Keep in mind this is still a work in progress but thought I'd show you guys what I have thus far!

This piece was done entirely in photoshop. (First time, I've done this!)

Figured I'd stick to my guns on this one and represent 25 years worth of lady brawlers from the franchise. It was quite fun, especially since I never drew a finished illo of Juri before.

Another Commission from the Calgary Comic Expo 2012.

So here we have Juri except in an alt colour scheme. I really like doing these in marker its just so much more fun than on the comp. Even though the effect is not as smooth and silky as comp, it feels more real. Definitely more chances to screw up and thus bigger points for pulling it off sans CTRL+Z.

Colours: Prismas, one or two Copics, Sakura Pigma 05 /01 , some pencils too in spots, White Pencil Crayon, and White Gel Pen.

Pullum Parna from EX plus Alpha, this game was great and is still quicker than some 3D fighters currently out there. That sidestep feature was a game changer and made so much sense, let alone an amazing soundtrack.

It was a bunch of fun to work on!

About two years ago, I did up a job for to design up SF Vinyl toys for KidRobot.

Did up a slew of characters before leaving for SDCC that year, and hoped for the best.

Browsing online a few hours ago, I discovered that those very toys are going to released, in a few days to be exact.

Pretty cool me thinks.

I primarily want Gief, Dhalsim, Sagat, Guile and Vega (based of the photos online)
But I do want to see how the others came out.

I'm not entirely sure whether or not UDON (or myself) are even credited on the product/packaging itself, No biggie. It's not like it's not the first time that's happened, heh.

I wanted to use the SFII chun-li, but realised for cost reasons etc, the Alpha designs would simply work better as it's merely about paint application rather than additional parts (for her puff shoulders/skirt)

I also figured I'd apply the 'kidrobot' styled pupils as their eyes, so it somewhat fit the look.

Lookie what I found? This gem of a cover I did for the Ultimate Hardcover Edish of Street Fighter the Comicbook series in 2006. One of my persoal favs of Akuma I've drawn in my career. The Ryu version of the ultimate edition was drawn in lead up to this - Akuma's front and back was made for this.

So here we have a commission for Matrix2006.

So he referenced a page from the #0 of Ibuki Legends. In the last panel of the story we had Ibuki being attacked by her tanuki (raccoon) and tickling her avec feather.

I put a pretty maniacal grin on Don the tanuki. The BG is actually from the page and I mimicked the colouring style so that it would match up.

For this pic, the idea was take the SF characters into a different context/genre. I remember that old fantasy Beat´m up from Capcom, like Knights of the round, Dungeons & dragons, Warzard, etc . so I take them into a fantasy/Dungeons & Dragons/RPG style
Ryu as the warrior, Chun li as a thief, Cammy as an Elven/priest, Ken as a knight, etc was very fun to do, hope you like it

Street fighter - Necro

Necro was a russian guy called Illia, He left home looking for a better life, until he met Gill, who promised the life he was looking for, but instead of that, Necro was transformed into a guinea pig for his experiments, giving him the ability of elongate and stretch some body parts and also, electric power. Necro travels along with Effie, his girlfriend, looking for vengance.

To be honest, I never been able to do a good play with Necro I like his design and story (OK!!! I love Effie over all XD) I like a lot the character, but I always end kicked on SFIII

Hi there guys! Hakan is a Turkish wrestler with the exotic, cool and fun oil style fighting. On the tournament he looks to be a friend/rival of E. Honda, and both claim their respective fighing style is the superior one. What I can say! He becomes very quickly one of my favorite new chara for SSFIV. Not only is fun to play, also is fun to watch (dat goddamn specials) A manly man with wife and kids who knows how to appreciate the good oil! that´s a badass character.

I am not sure if in everyone's book this page didn't print exactly level. If i didn't then please see this file to see how it was supposed to show up in the book.

I have the other split page of course, according to the script this page is to show the two lives that Ibuki lives. In the end she is a bit of both.

Makoto B-up Story pg 2 of 4

I've got so many pages from the past decade I could upload. I might start digging in my HD archive and pull out some really old stuff.

This was from a back-up story I did for Chamba's run on SF Turbo featuring Makoto in the summer of 2009. Many of the things you see have a delay of a few months since I can't show it till its published first etc etc.

In the story, the likeness between Dan and Makoto is that both of them are avenging their lost martial art fathers who were bested in their youth.

To me, and the way Jim has written her in the Ibuki Series, I have to say she is very very much like a female Dan. The main difference besides gender would be capability.
