as you can see i went straight to color no inks one this one, and also now you can see the artwork flipped the way it was meant to be. you also might notice a few changes.

this a quick behind the scenes video of my final comic project before i head for navy boot camp. not gonna say much about except it's for heavy metal magazine, they could take over 6 months to get back to me. in which case i might be in the middle of training. if I finnish training and it doesn't look like the story will be in the mag i guess I'll post it up digitally on the web here...

BONUS- stick around to the end for a quick lesson on how to convert pencil work into non photo blue image that easier to ink over.

reason for this video is basically coming up with an easier way to join two half of a large drawing. with out having to go in with a brush and clear up that shadow where the paper hangs over the tray. sick of having to go back in clean up this shadow with a brush i finally came up with a neat solution. which i now share.

i mean we've all heard stories of artist losing their right arm then learning to draw with there left. and thought it's not much of a pain anymore i do get arthritis pains in my arm from time to time and my doc told me it would only get worse as i get older. so it something thats come up i guess.

i'm also a big fan of the Betty Edward's books... you should check them out if you haven't. this exercises sorta comes from few of the exercises in her book but taken a bit further. i also think well if anyone can draw if they just learn how to flip the a switch in there brains. then i can learn how to draw with my left with practice. lol

i share this as a thought if anyone wants to try and by posting things i'll be more inclined to keep at it. lol i think for it to really work i need to do it everyday. but like with my right arm.
