This is just something i thought I'd throw together to help answer some questions i get asked about my animal photography.
All thoughts in this tutorial are MY OPINION, Other photographers may find their techniques better and may not like ring flash etc etc but this is what works for ME

This is a rescue rat - Godiva she part of a group of 3 rats in which she is auntie to the baby. I also have mum...We took them in yesterday, and they're around 1.2 years old. baby is at around 9m

Godiva is hairless ( They are supposed to be like that!...)

Please say a big "haii" to Barry, my newest addition to my clan of rats. He's one tiny ball of "flea" ... He pings across the cage not through fear but through excitement, he wants to be everywhere at once and RARELY stops.. so pictures of him will be a challenge! Hopefully he'll slow down a bit as he grows, like most boy rats do!

_{I love this picture, It was taken on a 70/200mm lens with a 5d mk2 ... i love the quality of the face on close up. Only thing that bugs me is the top of his head, the movement in that part bugs me. but apart from that...
