Sometimes the customization community needs innovation, copies and modifications, but this is the original one.

I haven't tried it on Windows, so please tell me if it looks bad there. However, I'm sure it'll look perfectly on Macs with Chrome/Safari.

✔ The first default wallpaper I've ever loved (I like the auroras, galaxies and shit, but I LOVE this one... can't believe it came with ML)

como muchos de ustedes sabrán, hace tan sólo dos días se liberó la versión 10.10 de Ubuntu, y con ella vinieron "muchas" novedades.

Muchos se quejaron argumentando que esta nueva versión no traía nada realmente nuevo, sólo arreglos estéticos y más similitudes con la interfaz de Mac OS X.

Yo no quise hablar sin haberla probado, así que en cuanto pude comencé la actualización a través del gestor de actualizaciones, y después de la insufrible hora que tardó, comencé a meter mano como Dios manda.

De tener casi casi el wallpaper que viene por defecto en Lucid Lynx (v10.04), después de actualizar me invadió un sentimiento de mándalo todo a la mierda. Comencé a instalar tweaks y apps como me dio la gana, y no paré hasta que lo dejé a mi gusto.

¡Pues bien! La decepción no se hizo esperar, y mi insaciable gusto... no fue saciado. Hay arreglos importantes en la interfaz, pero sigue estando verde, podría ser mucho mejor, e incluso ponerse al tú por tú con la de Mac OS X, pero no... no sé si es que los de Canonical son vagos o directamente no saben diseñar interfaces, pero bueno, ese no es el punto. El punto es que fue tal mi decepción, que me dije "en vez de criticar, ¿por qué no rediseñar?", y así es como parí esto.

Debo decir que actualmente, mi escritorio real con Maverick Meerkat (10.10) no luce como este. Ya es uno más del montón con ese sentimiento de quiero un Mac pero no puedo comprarlo, con Docky, GlobalMenu, Nautilus-Elementary, etc. Por más que me resistí a la tentación, no lo conseguí. ¿Por qué la interfaz de Mac OS X siempre es el modelo a seguir? ¿Por qué después de diez largos años todavía nadie diseña una interfaz digna de quitarle el trono a Aqua con su maldito gris y azul?

Será cuestión de tiempo y soy un impaciente, supongo...
