I've been a fan of Fierce Deity Link since the first time I mopped the floor with Majora in maybe three minutes (which kind of takes the challenge/bite out of the final bosses, but WHO CARES, IT WAS BLOODY AMAZING). The thing is, he's freaking massive (go check out the wiki: [link]), but I've never seen him depicted to scale in any rendition outside the game itself, which makes me a sad cookie. SO I DECIDED TO TAKE A SWING, TEE HEE.

Anyone who follows the Zelda timeline theories might be familiar with the idea that Majora's Mask took place in the interim between the first part/child years of Ocarina of Time and the adult years; I reckon it might have been neat if Link had been able to keep a hold of the masks he obtained in Termina. Or, at least, the last one he was able to keep, if he truly did have to surrender all the rest in order to get the Fierce Deity's Mask.

So I guess that's where this idea stems from. Kind of. If it needs to make sense.

TL;DR: I THINK IT WOULD BE SUPER BADASS IF LINK USED THE FIERCE DEITY'S MASK TO PUT DARK LINK IN HIS PLACE, DON'T YOU?

Sometimes, those little tangents actually turn into something. Such as an excuse to draw certain characters in modern gear/business suits/et cetera.

Deviating wildly from my comfort zone (high fantasy, elves and magic and such), our current plot is an alternate modern/future sort of thing. It's fun, don't get me wrong, it just feels weird when someone pisses Azrael off and doesn't get a bolt to the skull for it.

Azrael (on the left; HOLY CRAP HIS HAIR ISN'T SILVER WHOA) some of you guys already know, but Taro and Cadfael are new faces to everyone, if I'm not mistaken. Cadfael (on the right) is Azrael's younger brother; he's far kinder in nature for the most part, unless he's wallowing in the doldrums (which hasn't happened so far, yay). Taro (in the middle) is their father, a serious, business-minded man who tends to measure his sons' worth by their personal successes.

Personality-wise, they're fairly close to canon thus far in the plot. Which is pleasantly surprising, to me at least.
I ought to draw Cadfael more. He doesn't get enough love.

This was my first (and so far only) time working entirely in Paint Tool SAI (with the exception of the initial sketch), and IT MAKES ME SAD HOW MUCH I SUCK AT FIGURING OUT THE TOOLS AAAAARGH. But I still had fun and learned a few things about the program, and it's got some pretty nifty features that Photoshop sadly does not.

I finally threw some colour on an old-ish sketch of Vivi I drew either late 2009 or early 2010.

I took quite a few liberties with his design, as my initial idea was to create an "older" look for him. Not sure how well it carries, but ah well. It was fun to do!

Plus Vivi is made of win and awesome.
