I recommend using the Win7 Start Button Changer, possibly v2.6 if you can get it. You can find the latest version here: [link] I've had issues with the current one, it can't seem to change the actual registry entry, then again, that might be my silly compy acting out again.

Hoy les traigo unas orb, que acabo de hacer (son las primeras que hago ha decir verdad) Prácticamente ya es más de un año -literal- que no actualizaba nada aquí en el DA, pero bueno hoy que tengo tiempo hice unas orb muy lindas de Rilakkuma, si no saben lo que es la orb pues es el botón de Inicio de Windows!

~Kiiroitori (si mal no recuerdo así se llama el pollito guapo).

Windows 8 Blue Start Orb

Just something I whipped up because 90% of the start orbs on the internet are terrible.

This is a good balance between the overwhelmingly glossy Win7 start orb, and a boring flat square (the likes of which Microsoft seems to have taken a liking to)

It looks best on dark taskbars using small icons (hence the awkward-looking shadow against dA's light background)

Use it, share it, edit it, sell it for 20 million dollars while claiming credit for it, I don't give a fuck. It took like four minutes

~! This Start Button Has Only Been Tested With Classic Shell, and Is Only Supported When Used This Way !~

Why did I do this? Well, because nobody did it, and if they did, they didn't do it right. This is to be mainly used with Windows 7, since that is the last version that contains the Windows Classic theme, and looks best with Windows 7's Classic Theme itself.

Limitations - If you use the "Windows 98 Themes for 7" or so on, this will not look right, this is due to the nature of Classic Shell, and cannot be fixed. It will be unlikely that I will make different versions for different themes, sorry guys.

I will continue to refine it if I find out there are issues with the start button, but for right now I'm satisfied with it.

Hey guys, this is the first batch of Fate Series Command Spells Orb. (finally)
I decided to release 5 out of 6 (cause the 6th, Emiya Kiritsugu is somehow not aligned well) Command Spell orb. This pack consists of Command Spells for :
1 - Kariya Matou (40x38)
2 - Emiya Shirou (39x51)
3 - Rin Tosaka (21X40)
4 - Sakura Matou (41x40)
5 - Waver Velvet (40x37)
The Orb is in .bmp format. Feedbacks to this are welcomed.
Note : I think there's some mis-alignment on one of 5 Orbs, can't figure which already.
More will come, if you paitent enough.
And of course; kudos to Type-Moon for the ever awesome series (Don't mind me for this).

Sarif Industries Start Orbs

Did it in the style of my Belltower start orb, with the glowing golds of Human Revolution.
Unfortunately some of the clarity in the logo was lost because of the small size, but I have provided two different sizes in the download. The larger one will clip a little bit in its default state but expands to fullsize on mouse over. The regular sized one fits within the constraint of a normal taskbar height. Works best on a dark, opaque taskbar.

Download and use if you'd like!

Windows 98 Start Orb for Windows 7

The start orb belongs to Microsoft. I didn't make it. I took screen shots off of a Windows 98 Second Edition Virtual Machine and converted it to a png image. (PNG and BMP are the only ones that can be used for start orbs)
You have to right click on the task bar, properties, check Use small icons, (that will shorten the taskbar to Windows 95 - Windows Vista) then click apply, and click okay. To use it you will need Classic Shell: [link]
When you have classic shell open right click on your start button, then setiings, a windows will open and click All Settings, click Start Button, Then click Custom Button, click on button image,
you will see ... next to button image, (right of it) then click on ... and choose the image. (You will have to take the image out of the .zip folder because it has a extension on it that will use the .zip
folder instead of the image so take the image out of the zip folder and then you click on the image)
