I have been wanting to do this doll for several months, and actually had most of the base edit sitting in my WIP since December.

This is Orik, an original character I created for the prize story for =PiccolaRia (link below). I imagine Orik, who is a dwarf, was a bit more scruffy, with longer hair back in Kherming. However, once he came to Earth, his master, Vondel, made him spiff-up a bit. He's still a nasty character.

If you have read the story, it's pretty good. A semi-canon, cross-over story between Relativity and The Kherming Chronicles.

Kherming Cantations - Chapter 1 Mud...everywhere.

Ria forged through the dense forest, pushing aside leaves and branches to make it down the path. Her foot fell into a deep puddle, splashing water and earth up onto her pants. She grimaced.

The storm had seemed to come out of nowhere. Just hours before, the sky had been clear and the sun shining bright. Then, as if foretelling the coming of something dark and evil, black clouds rolled in, dumping buckets of water onto the land. As much as the druid hated to be out in such weather, there was a purpose.

Something dark and evil, she thought, wryly.

"Are you sure this is the right way?" The voice was Kyed. He wasn&rsquo

This was a HEAVY base edit. Since I will be doing more Kherming dolls, I wanted to do them on the same base set, so here it is. It's the same base as the Ria doll below. The hair really gave me fits. But I am super-happy how the beard turned out.

Charlie Murphy - Contest Prize

Another portrait. Next up is a full-figure commission, hopefully later today, early tomorrow.

This is the prize for *bloodrose83 for winning 1st in the literature category of the Relativity contest. She requested a pixel portrait of her OC, Charlie (the character that appeared in the winning entry).

For the face, I referred to all of the recent commissions done of the character, but also tried to give him a bit of my style, too. Charlie reminds me of a greaser from the 50s, so I tried to convey a bit of that as well.

I knew the character wore a leather jacket, but silly me decided I would do a fashion day and give him a jean jacket. Only to learn (from a recently posted profile sheet I hadn't seen before) that the character NEVER goes without his leather jacket. So, I had to re-do the jacket. So the insane amount of time I spent on this was doubled--though my fault. Anyhow...

I looked at a ton of leather jacket designs and this is the one that translated best into the small portrait area. I even created a pixel leather texture for it. In the end, it all worked and I'm happy how it came out. I hope Bloodrose likes it!

Base is Asha by ~Icecradle (yes, I use this base a lot, but it's because I luffs it so much). Heavy face edits.

TECH 311: Rocks Render

This is my third texture the leather was the fourth texture.

I wanted to get the rocks to pop out of the image, but sadly can't figure out how.

This was for my Digital Materials and Lighting (TECH 311) class at SCAD
We had to choose four textures to try and mimic in maya realistically....much more of a challenge than it was for my digital form space and lighting class sophomore year.

This was a really weird redish leather sparkly texture my professor provided in class....
I don't know how accurate I got to the actual photo but it was fun to work with.

Still going back to 2D animation after this though haha.

JIN KAZAMA AS AGGRESSIVE DEVIL (By BrutalAce & Piuma)

First of all thanks to Piuma for making "Street Ryu" mod for SSF4AE which is one of my favourite mod in AE so I decided to port this mod to SFxT but instead of choosing Ryu I went with Jin and it is not a direct port as I have made some good changes, take a look at features.

FEATURES

1. Full retexture of Jacket for a more leather look.

2. Improved jeans for better denim texture.

3. Introduced a belt with buckle which was absent in Street Ryu mod, the buckle has golden "Devil Gene" symbol on it.

4. Nike's tick symbol on sneakers.

5. Same "Devil Gene" symbol on both gloves.

6. In my first two mods I didn't edited Pandora mode and left it as it is but in this mod I did a couple of things to Pandora mode as well, nothing major but you can notice them I hope you like it.

7. Hi-res 2048x2048 textures.

8. Fully customizable (except belt buckle) which I left myself because that golden "Devil Gene" symbol looks good as it is.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Copy the files from extracted archive and paste them in X:\Program Files (x86)\Capcom\Street Fighter X Tekken\resource\CMN\battle\chara\JIN

- Where X is your drive letter on which the game is installed.
- Press OK when it ask you to overwrite.

2. Make sure you do a backup of original files before copying the modded files.

ISSUES

None that I know of, if you see any let me know

An icon commission for ~DynamoSquad. I'm really sorry for making this icon very, very late, like the request was said back on October 2011 and I just floated until a few months after it was said. I am really sorry for that.

And about the details, this looks almost exactly like the pic he sent to me and he wanted me to make an icon of him in this look. I made him look like a hardcore punk street biker, and I think that the Hardcore Punk style may have replaced the emo hairstyle. It's like the previous style, except that it's shorter and has a rougher texture, as you may see his hair. The hairstyle of now has a shorter length than the side-swept banged emo style circa 2008.

His clothing also appears to make him look like a pretty sweet hot rod motorcycle enthusiast, including the dark-gray t-shirt (he's really wearing the long sleeve shirt), the button down vest with flames on it, and leather fingerless gloves.

There is also makeup on his face, which I might be a rookie at it, as you may explain the eyeliner, or what the eyelid makeup worn on guys known as "guyliner". He also has a really big grin, which is part of my new style for both my HTF form and my Cartoon form.

I hope you enjoy your new icon, which is obviously late and sorry I floated.
