I'm very confused about this lol, I just got a sudden urge to draw a peacock. And as I started rereading Deathly Hallows this week, this scene was very suitable. My peacock's on the left though but I drew this before checking the scene in the book This was meant to be some sort of a speed painting so I left everything as unperfect as I could, the feathers were awful to draw so I just gave up on them tbh. Being a perfectionist that's not too easy though...

I did a poll awhile ago, asking which pokemon to do a fanart of, and Rayquaza won! I spent a long time on this, keeping the lineart clean and aesthetic, adding all the details you might see, and I am very very happy about this! This is a shiny Rayquaza, because I decided to do something different, even for me!

No, I didn't do scales. D: I know that it's different for me but the truth is that the scales would have ruined the picture- I tried a few times to scale him but I wasn't able to do it properly. That's okay though, because I love how it turned out!

I also used STOCK to do the background- new for me but at the same time, it was so helpful. Thanks to =Falln-Stock for the star and moon brushes; it really helped keep the piece perfectly lighted. I wanted to do more with it, but as I've never used stock before, I didn't want to overdo it.

Time took: 10 hours, CS3, Wacom Bamboo Fun

I've been working on this last three days, and I've lost feeling in my hand multiply times in the end. I hope you like it Angel cause I will be nursing cramps in my hand for the next few days lol I did love to work on it too.
I'm not completely happy with Sakura's eyes but I couldn't find a picture of her with seductive eyes in Kishimoto's style. So might redo it in future.

Either way this is fanart for AngeLhearteD's Quietus. Which in case you don't know yet is a fanfic that follows the abduction myth of Hades and Persephone but with Naruto characters. Here are a picture progress btw



Symbolism:
It's all pretty obvious but I will explain some stuff which inspired me, to sound cool, mind you. 

Mount Olympus or rather how I imagine Mt. Olympus to look... the whole thing about being build on top of mountain I find bullshit. So here are the gates of Olympus up in the clouds with a stair that connects in to the mountain beneath. Which is mostly likely protected by some horrible monster or minor deities/personified concepts of some kind.

Hinata as Selene is an archaic lunar goddess and the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, as well as the sister of Eos the Goddess of the Dawn and Helios an archaic solar deity. In post-Renaissance art, Selene is generally depicted as a beautiful woman with a pale face and long, lustrous, black hair. Don't tell that doesn't describe Hinata as well. I admit her dress was slightly sailor moon inspired, which was and still is one of my favored manga/anime. And incorporates the Selene's symbol the crescent in her jewelry and tiara. Because of Hinata's shy nature her dress is the far more modest then her two fellow goddess. The goen's man inspiration was fairytale'ish winter landscape with the moon's light gentle shinning down upon, with the ice crystals and snowflakes glittering like stars.

Ino in her Aphrodite incarnation as the goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation. In a I way tried to combined the myths about Aphrodite's birth in her clothes. The skirt is supposed to represent the sea a reference to the myth where Aphrodite's birth was the consequence of Uranus' castration. Kronus/Cronus severed his father's genitals and threw them behind him into the sea. The genitals were carried over the sea a long time, and from immortal flesh arose white foam in the form of a girl who became Aphrodite. While all her jewelry including her silver and gold bikini top which is a reference to Star Wars (Princess Leia's slave girl outfit in Return of the Jedi to be exact) her being a daughter of Zeus and the goddess/nymph Dione as well as the (not so faithful) wife of Hephaestus who was also god of forging. Her hair accessory has wings incoprated to hint which a visual reminder of Aphrodite's son Eros.

Sakura as Persephone depicted as both the personification of Spring as well the formidable, venerable and majestic Queen of the Shades of the Underworld who rules by her husband's side. I tried to portray Sakura as strong woman, confidant in both her position as well her sensuality. Dressed to kill she is donned in a sexy red gown (with a split in the middle of the skirt showing of her long legs, a image futher enhanced by her sandals) decorated with a black rose pattern on the hem of the skirt as well just beneath the bustline. Her jewelry is nod towards her husband especially under epitaph of Pluton the title given to Hades as the god of the riches found beneath the earth's crust. Considering we've seen Sasuke give her when he's just obsessed think how he will spoil when their married.

So the idea for this one is that Lofty is standing on one of the floating islands during the night since Loftwings have supposedly poor night vision and don't fly around at night.

The other night I successfully got Photoshop back on my computer *JOY!!!* and immediately jumped into trying to relearn about layers and some coloring/shading tips.

THIS MONTH HAS BEEN RIDICULOUS! Really, I did not expect THIS MUCH school work to get in the way with SMOCT. Don't worry, Reggie and I are still working on it and will keep it up!

Anyway...um...HALLOWEEN...was yesterday, I know XD;; Oh well, BETTER LATE THEN NEVER! Plus, I thought I'd change it up this year by putting up a nice and semi-happy picture during the MONTH OF HORRORS! U mad?

Hehehe, are the costumes I gave the characters obvious enough to know my recent obsession? *That and Mirai Nikki* I fell in love with Puella Magi the moment I started watching the episodes *And episode 3 really got me hooked* and wouldn't have known about it if it weren't for ~HappyAggro who introduced me to it

So what better way to celebrate both Halloween and my love for the show? Have SP and my OC(s) dress up as them of course! Oh man did I having fun drawing the costumes on them, mostly Madoka's dress because of how poofy it is X3

You know what? The whole thing was fun to come together, mostly because I did all this ON ADOBE CS5! Slows my computer down, BUT IT'S STILL AWESOME! I'm pretty sure that there are some errors here and there, but that's the beauty of critiques and practicing, right? To learn from your mistakes so that you can improve! So I know in time that I'll get better ^_^

Who's who:

Chibi Phantom: Kyubey - Will not spoil anything, only that they both share a similarity of giving magical powers to others. Only difference is that Chibi Phantom gave her power to Regina so that she could fight again while Kyubey just does it to grant girl's wishes What do I mean by that? Go watch to find out Oh and no, she does not have fingers or toes. That's just part of the costume.

Regina: Madoka Kaname - Even though their personalities are slightly different, I thought Regina was a good choice to dress up as Madoka because when you get pass the self-insecure and crying, Madoka is a very kind person and cares deeply for her friends. Regina is like that only with more pep and barely cries XD;;

Elanor: Homura Akemi - This would make sense to those who have watched the show. However, for those who haven't, Homura Akemi starts off as cold and harsh in the beginning episodes. In a way, Elanor is somewhat similar with Homura's personality, mostly because she originally didn't want friends and treated anyone cold, but her friendship with Regina caused her to open up and realize how important it was to have friends. Again, if you watched the series, it would somewhat make sense about the two. X3

Hailey: Charolette - This was just for shits and giggles. I originally was planning on having him dress up as Kyubey since he is the mascot of sorts but thought it would be hilarious if I dressed him up as Charolette. Mostly because it fits from what we had planned in our SMOCT flash where Hailey made a snarky comeback at Elanor. REVENGE IS A DISH BEST SERVED COLD!

And yes, I did intend the background to look like the opening, only with the SMOCT Satellite instead of a city.

Vincent Price is Dr. Robert Morgan, a research scientist who just may be able to reverse the effects of a plague that has transformed the rest of the remaining world population into nocturnal, zombie-esque vampires. The trouble for the last normal man on Earth is that the undead would rather feast on his blood than benefit from Morgan's scientific knowledge. Each night, he barricades himself in the remains of his family home, which he has transformed into a well-stocked fortress, and prepares to meet the siege of the undead. He fills his days with research into finding a cure for the vampire plague, hunting down the infected by daylight who threaten to kill him by night, disposing of bodies left to rot after the plague and replenishing his supplies. And then one day, he meets a woman walking about in full sunshine...

Based on the novel "I Am Legend" by the great Richard Matheson.

YAY! First real Sailor Moon piece EVER!!! Also, first character art for my fanfic - The Other Eternal. (That was its project name, but they tend to stay like that )

I drew this to my notebook, scanned and re-did it on computer, as usual, because my scanner kills everything that isn't black when scanned.

This is Eternal Sailor Neo Moon, or Chibi-Usa. Well, she's 14, so she isn't so chibi anymore. That's why she goes by the name Rini in my fanfic.
The story would start by her returning to 20th century, to year 1999, to be specific. Before she left, she was given a new transformation brooch by her mother, Neo-Queen Serenity. This brooch allowed Rini to transform into Eternal Sailor Neo Moon and fight alongside Usagi as a real Moon senshi. (featured in the top right corner)

About the design:
Boots are wrong is this one. I changed the design after I had made this, so I couldn't fix it anymore. The boots are supposed to be v-shaped, not pointy like they are here. Also, the heels should be higher but I just drew it like that. Can't draw high heels. Othervise the design is done.

My point in the fanfic was to give the senshi the eternal upgrade they didn't get in the anime. And I wanted ChibiMoon to show she's a Moon senshi, not just any solar guardian for the Moon princess. That's why her outfit here is identical to Moon's Eternal fuku from anime.
But if everyone gets an upgrade, what does Sailor Moon get? Well, she gets bigger wings ;D And new powers.

Okay, so the colors I used in the fuku are almost identical to Sailor Moon. There's ChibiMoon's original pink, but the red and yellow are toned down, because they wouldn't look too good with full saturation. (White is white and that's it.)

The brooch is a bit off, as the gems aren't the same size. The pink gem in the bottom is ChibiMoon's Silver Imperium Crystal, but this, it's... Yes, that's right, PINK! So it's more 'Pink Imperium Crystal', but that really doesn't sound good. So it's general name will be 'Imperial Moon Crystal'. Applies to all Moon crystals.

That wand. Yes, it's Sailor Moon's Moon Stick from the first season. I wanted to give it to ChibiMoon. And this time it's fully effective. Not a comic relief her attacks have been in 3rd and 4th season. In 5th, she didn't even do ANYTHING! Except from fading away. In my fanfic, she will have a bigger role.

Anatomy both sucks and is great. This is my first piece where the legs don't look like sticks, but those fingers are just awful. Also, first piece ever where I colored the lineart! I feel really accomplished with this piece!

But, I got a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet for Christmas, so I've been playing around with that. Nothing more than really sketchy doodles, for the most part.

Except for this.

This was going to be my entry for a contest over on MagiStream (and I still might enter, but I dunno). The theme was winter and we could use certain MagiStream creatures in our pictures. I went with the ice dragon.

Done in Photoshop Elements 7, entirely by me (except for the moon, which was a brush by =Falln-Stock found here). The sprite for the black ice dragon on the MagiStream site was used as reference.

And I clearly need to learn how to draw (and color) mountains properly. ]]>

As mentioned in "Sober", indeed Zim becomes unbelievably over protective of little GIR after the death of both Dib and Talia, and GIR refuses to stay in his own bed anymore. But with how unstable his master usually is, Zim barely minds.

This would probably be one of the nights where the SIR unit has drifted into a restless sleep after crying. and Zim just looks listlessly out the window; the two trying to find the will to go on in each other.

Sober: It's hard to believe just..what happened - the shattered life we all have now. That is, if it can be called a life.. The day didn't really start off unusual... actually, it started off so great. Perhaps, I should start at the beginning... Or, rather the middle. I can't talk about what happened before the accident; it will make the pain so much worse.    The four of us had just come back from a day at the park - a day I don't think any of us believe it ever happened at all. The smeets were exhausted; GIR was begging me to pick him up so he could sleep in my arms for the walk back. I said no, of course... Irk...why..why did I say Clarity:        April eleventh in the year 2006 was the absolute worst day of my life, as the very last piece of my life fell somewhere in the dark hole with the rest of the pieces.    It was around March when GIR fell ill; a serious computer virus invading every circuit and ultimately slowly shutting him down. He was the last thing on earth that gave me a purpose to go on..I had lost all else. Without irken tools, I knew there wasn't much I could do for him. I stayed by his bedside every second of every day, unless he requested me to fetch him something. We spent most of the time talking about when li

I love Amy, her fighting style in Soul Calibur IV is so elegant and ballerina-like,yes I know she's like Raphael. She's definitively one of my favorite characters especially because she's like 14 years-old.

El primer dibujo está relacionado con la versión que cantan Elton John y Alessandro Safina: [link] , y el segundo dibujo es éste, relacionado con la versión que cantan Ewan McGregor y Alessandro Safina para la película "Moulin Rouge" . Ustedes podrán decir que es la misma canción, pero se oyen muuuuy diferentes . Ah, Safina potencia mis ideas locas con Genzo, hacen mala combinación estos dos .

En fin... El fondo chafa lo hice yo con el jotochop, digo, photoshop .
