The first thing you need to know about the clans by the sea is they are greatly effected by the tides.
- during the morning and into the mid day hours, the tides are very high making it impossible for a cat to safely make it to the whisper caverns or the Sharp stones  
- in the after noon to early evening the waters start to recede, a cat could make it to the sharp stones, but not without getting a little wet first.
