My husband decided he'd get me a decent bookshelf to display my Ginga Collection on since the bookshelf I had prior wasn't big enough and half of it was in boxes and such.
I'm glad that I now have a bookshelf big enough to properly display it. My Ginga collection is the largest among all the collections I have and I will stay that way- Currently Ginga is the only thing I'm collecting, since its expensive to do so- I've made up my mind and also came to the conclusion that, if I want my collection to get bigger I have to focus on it and nothing else. So there you have it. It was quite the productive brainstorm too since I've sold a lot of my other things to aquire a lot of the new stuff I've gotten/getting.

I do have the full set of GDW Manga (First Edition) 1-60. Though I only have 30 at the moment the other 30 are soon to arrive in the mail. I'm so excited to finally have this set done- i'm very happy that I can now move on and work on finishing the other sets. Like the Orion Series and Ginga Nagareboshi Gin first edition.

This collection took me a good 1 and half to 2 years to get this far- I started collecting in 2009 but didn't start doing so on a massive and more productive scale till 2011- And this is where it is now in 2013- I'm hoping to continue to make it bigger. I love this collection with all my heart. It really means a lot to me. I'm glad my husband had it in him to allow me to do this- since my collecting isn't one of his favourite things about me- I do have a sneaky suspicion that he actually LIKES my Ginga collection- since the entire time I was putting it together and setting it up on this bookshelf he kept coming into the room and saying "That is so cool!" And acting excited. Which is, let me say...rather UNLIKE him in all ways. It made me happy ^^ He has dubbed it the "Ginga Shrine" Since its more like one than a mere collection. I care not, its a shrine to be proud of XD At least in my eyes it is ^^

So without further a-do I shall ATTEMPT to recall and list the things in this photo and then list the things not yet received but coming shortly.

Name: Arctic Wolf (Canis lupus arctos)
Location: Canadian Arctic and the northern parts of Greenland
Size: 1.8 m long, 79 cm high weight: 75 kg
Diet: Caribou, musk oxen, Arctic Hares, seals, ptarmigan, lemmings. Arctic wolves eat all their prey, also its bones and fur
Conservation status: common. They still live in the whole of its original range, because local conditions are too extreme for humans.
Interesting facts: mother gives birth to some 2-3 pups in May. Pups are born almost black – as they get older, colour of their fur turns to white. Adults are completely white, even in summer | arctic wolves live in the pack of some 7-10 members. Only alpha male and alpha female mate | arctic wolves have shorter ears and nose than other wolves species. They also have thicker fur, shorter legs | they do not run too fast, their advantage is persistence

Had a very long and annoying day at work, but before I could even begin ranting, I'd have to explain how a SQUID works, why it needs liquid helium, not to mention the inherent problems one faces when trying to obtain liquid helium at the moment. So let's just summarize it as things not working as they should, with a couple of angry physicists attempting to resolve that, trying some unconventional methods that none of us has ever utilized. Normally, I like these more technical and less theoretical challenges. But this was just too long and bothersome for my taste. Oh well, at least I got the 103 again, this time with the "comet trail" one usually sees when the pantograph hits all the droplets clinging to the wire.

i had too much fun with this. i started out with the original photo, on top left. despite its boring emptiness, i liked it. so i wanted to see how it'd look with different filters. and the other 5 came about. i liked them all, and i wanted to submit one, but yeah. so i thought, lets put 'em all together in a collage! so that's what i did. i flipped a couple of them so the bird wire makes that continuous angle thing in the rows.

i wanted to name them. because naming is fun. top left would be Grey, of course. top right is Sunset/Sunrise. middle left looks like Clouds or Waves. top right is Ash. bottom left is rain, and bottom right is Flame.

i had too much fun with this. i started out with the original photo, on top left. despite its boring emptiness, i liked it. so i wanted to see how it'd look with different filters. and the other 5 came about. i liked them all, and i wanted to submit one, but yeah. so i thought, lets put 'em all together in a collage! so that's what i did. i flipped a couple of them so the bird wire makes that continuous angle thing in the rows.

i wanted to name them. because naming is fun. top left would be Grey, of course. top right is Sunset/Sunrise. middle left looks like Clouds or Waves. top right is Ash. bottom left is rain, and bottom right is Flame.

i dunno. i have to much free time.

SO, to maximize the GWC's to come out and shoot, I did another promo session. Took about 30 minutes. Simulated what we expect to happen Saturday. All quite booring actualy; butt then, Knox said yes!, and we did some realy HOT images.

Well, upon realizing our mistake, we quickly called relatives for help xD And, during this time, being the random little crackhead it is, Ota-kun decided that it would be fun to kick off the old flip flops and walk up and down the sidewalk as Jack, twirling a nearly six-foot-tall staff! Let's just say that our poor Ota was worried that people would wreck, due to the fact that some were rubbernecking to look back at the Guardian they had spotted! children would point it out to their parents, and one person passing by in their car actually snapped a picture! It just goes to show you that even though it may seem like a bad situation, it's very easy to make the best of the situation at an anime convention!!

Another man was telling: Altough I am divorced, I called my ex-wife instantly in order to know what there is going on. I really was worried, but when she called me I felt much better. My new girl-friend and I are taking photos in order to let the other know how the situation is looking like currently. ToT

I can not help with my hands, but I can pray that everything will be fine.

Okay, let's go back to the beginning.
On Monday my dad, Cait, and I went up to Brandon to stay in a hotel for the night so we wouldn't have to drive all the way to Orlando in the morning. Stayed up pretty late, ended up only getting a few hours of sleep before we had to wake up at 5:30 am to get ready. Wasted ten minutes in bed, Cait took forever in the shower, and we had to eat downstairs before we left. We were on the road by 7. Took an hour and a half to get to the House of Blues. The line wasn't as long as we were expecting. Our friends who we had met at the Patrick Stump show in August of 2011 were the first ones in line, and so we had gone up there to kill some time and hang out with them. When we had gone back to our spot we talked to the two girls next to us for a while before the people working there had us move up in line at around 1 or 2 pm. It had rained for a bit, which we were thankfully prepared for. There were these people who had brought a power strip so they could charge more than one electronic at one (since HoB has outlets on the metal posts.) We began to talk to them when they had us squish together by 3 pm or so. A lot of the fans in the 'pass the line' line were pretty cool, definitely different from the ones that I've encountered before. Probably because they were older. Enough of this. Around 6 or so Dirty (yes, John Miller 'Dirty') had come out of nowhere and was hanging out in front of the bar. Typical of him. We got inside a half hour later and managed to be a few rows behind the barricade. Once New Politics started the crowd started going crazy and everybody from the back started pushing. This was the beginning of a disaster. The band was awesome, they gave off great energy. The drummer was happy as fuck.
When they had finished everybody started to prepare for when the lights would go off because then people would be going insane. They did. When the lights from behind the curtain came on and you could see their silhouettes I began to cry. I couldn't believe that I was about to finally see the band that is the reason why I'm alive. When the curtain dropped and they began to play Thriller that's when everything went to shit. When a crowd surfer was on-top of my head the panic attack started. Note that this was the first one that I've ever had, I've only experienced anxiety attacks. Which I'm prone to. I turned to Cait and started freaking out, saying that I had to get out. The only way to do so was to crowd surf over to the security. That was not fun. Her along with this chick and a guy had helped me up, and let me tell you, that was a weird experience. The big security guy that was in the middle had helped me down and so I walked over to where this other guard had asked me if I was okay and I nodded, just needing to calm down and breathe. He then had me step over to the side of the barricade on the stairs so I wasn't in the way. I stayed there for the remainder of the concert, and it was a pretty good spot. There was a guy a couple people over who had put his hand on my shoulder and smiled when he saw that I was crying, and kept looking over at me during the set. Every song had brought a new wave of tears. That was the best night of my life. The crowd sang the ending of Save Rock and Roll, and it was beautiful. The show didn't last that long, though. They ended before 11. Afterwards I had tried to find Cait, and instead found my dad. I used his phone to call her, since she had mine in her purse. Turns out during the show she had been looking for me, and had gone upstairs to buy a shirt. So we went to the exit where she had been standing and walked outside and over to the gates where the tour bus was. The security were being dicks and kept telling us that nobody was coming out. Andy was the first to, but they didn't let anybody see him until the end of the line where he took pictures and signed stuff. Then Joe came out, giving high fives to everyone as he passed. I was so close to touching his hand, if it weren't for the chick standing beside me. We waited a while before Patrick came out. And when he did I started to get nervous and couldn't decide on which CD I wanted him to sign. I chose Soul Punk for obvious reasons. When it was my turn in line I apologized in advance that I smelled bad and he (being on vocal rest) waved it off and I handed him Soul Punk. His eyes had lit up when he saw it and he looked so happy. He kept thanking me and when he was finished he pulled me into a hug and Cait snapped the picture. Marcus (that's who it looked like) rushed me off after that, and when we were walking away I started to cry because I had finally met Patrick. He really does give the best hugs. Such a sweetheart. Oh, we're the same height. I was just standing at a weird angle.
