New Puppies

Some new pups I've adopted from others I haven't gotten around to posting/drawing properly til now.

Screwball -- Most likely a Tripig, maybe born in a later litter than Ace, Seven and Star.. and maybe alongside Chase. Screwball actually has a dignified sounding name but everyone calls him Screwball instead, and after a point, even Cadpig starts calling him that, accepting there's something strange about the boy. Screwball loooooooves aliens, he's obsessed with them and everything to do with them. I could see this pup joining the alien cult shown in the season finale of 101 Dalmatians the series xD He would be all aboard waiting for the shaggy green messenger and the mothership to take him to the stars.

Alexander, or Alex -- Dipbecca, although I'm not sure whether he's part of the current litter or maybe a later one. I picture him as doofy but I wanna find some other form of doof than just dumb xD because he reminds me of Melvin too much.

Margaret, or Maggie -- Twitter's daughter (with Claudius, most likely), a sweet girl who's good friends with Clara. It's a rather devastating loss when she dies.

???? random puppy I adopted from Nemo some time ago. Just now got around to drawing him I'm thinking about making him one of Arrow's kids.. resembles Dipstick but with a much sharper wit and smart tongue.

Blueberry the wolf -- brother of Bubbles and friends with Prince, Pumpkin, Jack, and Bubbles. Playful, friendly and sweet, he's rather carefree and doesn't care too much about rules.. which bugs Prince.

Lilac/Lily -- Either another Dipbecca puppy OR Annabelle's other daughter with Rodrigo -- a bratty girl that doesn't care that much to spend time with her family. Lily was cursed with pink flower spots and despises them, not wanting to be so girly. But she's a sucker for poetry and has a taste for gothic boys. In a relationship with Killian (my gothic pup, have yet to post his pictures). Drives Annabelle/Rebecca nuts.

En parte no me gusta hacer enlistados cortos porque no alcanzan todas, pero si he de elegir son principalmente estas chicas, me fue difícil elegirlas puesto que me faltaron varias, creo que después haré uno mucho mas grande xD bueno voy:

No. 10.- Sunako Nakahara —Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (Perfect Girls); Quienes me conocen les parecería contradictorio que me gustase esta chica, porque en sí, se hizo quien es por un rechazo, pero vamos quien no ha cometido el error de fijarse alguna vez en un imbécil u.u y pues a Sunako se le demuestra mas su verdadera personalidad a partir de ello, no entra en alguna clasificación estereotípica de chicas anime, no tiene cambios tan bruscos de personalidad, es tal cual lo hace y siente nada más.

No. 09.- Tomoe Yukishiro — Rurouni Kenshin/OVA Tsuiokuhen (Samurai X); En principio ni me llamaba la atención, pero en cuanto vi el manga y recapitule las Ovas, se me hizo increíble que mujer más admirable de su época, Tomoe se me hace la viva muestra de una mujer de que así como me vez de santurrona puedo hacer que te maten xD; resumiendo todo no esperaba que le traicionara el corazón y para remediarlo, ella muestra el que una mujer sea realmente fuerte es en la intensidad y hecho de facto en sus acciones y decisiones.

No. 08.- Ai Enma — Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl); Me atrajo lo fría y seria en inicios, pareciera que no le importara nada ni nadie, y también por lo contradictorio su papel de ser tanto la protagonista como la antagonista, pero Ai si le marca bastante cuando manda alguien inocente al infierno todo en ella se muestra que no es nada feliz, pero si no tuviera esa personalidad apática no podría cumplir con las ordenes que le dieron, y cuando llego el momento de elegir a la siguiente chica ella se ofrece por la toda la eternidad para que nadie más tenga que realizar la tarea que hace.

No. 07.- Lil Mayer (Re-L Meyer) — Ergo Proxy; A inicios que vi a esta chica no me caí bien, creía que si bien es cierto que en verdad es cabronzona y que nadie puede con ella eso no le da ningún privilegio de ser una cretina, eso para mí denota mas la pobre persona que es, pero conforme avanza la historia ella empieza a apreciar más a las personas, los lazos, se suelta y hasta sonríe, sin hacer tanto cambio en sus rasgos más personales que pese a que no me agradaba ella me gustaba verlos como el ser rebeldona, muy honesta y directa.

No. 06.- Katniss Everdeen — Hunger Games; Me gusto mucho el personajes de Katniss no solo da todo por las personas que ella quiere sino incluso si puede ayuda, aunque algunos sitios le han tachado que “no hizo nada realmente extraordinario” como para que la aclamen ser un símbolo de esperanza para la gente (me baso en sus libros claro) A ver, ella es una chica que hace lo que es necesario, ¡no para demostrarle nada a nadie!, muchas veces eso que se dé, está muy fuera de tu alcancé, se dio ese tipo de coincidencia ¡y ya!, inclusive ella misma lo reconoce que mejor debió morir para que no ocurrieran los males que le sucedió después a su distrito y familia; se destaca su independencia, franqueza y aunque paceré anti-social la verdad es que eso no le importa (para mí lo que más me gusta) xD pero solo con los niños saca su lado cálido y maternal.

No. 05.- Kikyou — InuYasha; Para mi Kikyo era valerosa y no fue nada justo con ella todo lo que le paso, muchos la señalan muy horrible por un puto pairing, cuando ella gustaba de curar y salvar a la gente, para todos mostraba una tierna mira y tenue sonrisa, pero su personalidad tan fría se debía precisamente por su deber, toda la gente le cargaba una responsabilidad tan grande a una joven, cuando jamás pidió tener nada de eso, lo que más añoraba es ser una chica normal, después conoce a alguien con quien cree que se entienden y complementan, por primera vez se dejo mostrar lo cálida y frágil que es ante él y de repente le sale un terrible ataque de muerte, ¿cómo analizas o siquiera asimilas eso? Y aun así, sintiéndose destrozada, quedándole poco tiempo y sobre todo sintiéndose traicionada se levanto para “detenerlo”.

No. 04.- Kyoko Honda — Fruit Basket; Ella es una de las pocas señoras que me causa mucho respeto; de joven era bastante violenta, rebeldona y líder de un grupo de Yankee´s femenino, el mundo que ella creía ver solo le mostraba dolor, agresividad y abandono, eso la hacía sentir que debía estar en guardia todo el tiempo para enfrentar lo que sea y sobrevivir; aunque era necia no era nada tonta, le cayó de golpe las palabras que le dijo su maestro Katsuya Honda pero le hizo ver y entender una gran verdad, que pese a todo en su ser tenía un fuerte deseo de encontrar un lugar al cual pertenecer y amar; empezó a cambiar para bien junto a su esposo Katsuya, pero después el muere le da una profunda depresión en la cual estuvo a punto de suicidarse, pero el mismo día recuerda su hija Tohru recapacita para no dejarla sola; y eso es lo que me gusta de ella se hunde hasta el fondo y se vuelve a levantar.

No. 03.- Lisbeth Salander — Millenium; La vi en la película “La Chica del Dragón Tatuado” ella es muy inteligente, una gran memoria fotográfica y considerada una de las mejores hacker del mundo, pero tiene fuertes trastornos sociales; puesto que legalmente la declaran “retrasada social” tiene que llevar un tutor quien en abuso de su autoridad hace que ella le haga sexo oral y después la viola brutalmente, aunque en este último tiene la grabación del acto, pasado esto después en vengarse le hace sodomía con una lámpara incandescente y tatuándole en pecho y barriga flácidas “Soy un cerdo sádico y violador” xDD pero enserio, la gran mayoría de mujeres si les ocurre eso no se vuelven a levantar, y/o se quedan con un estigma de sentir que ya no valen nada; pero pese a todo lo que ha visto y pasado tiene una gran voluntad y pudo tener una relación normal con su amigo-amante Mikael Blomkvist

No. 02.- Ree Dolly — Winter's Bone; Para la edad de 17 años es una chica muy decidida, valiente y excepcional; en el ambiente en que vive son de esas zonas rurales abandonadas de EUA; que la gran mayoría creen que no existen por estar acostumbrados a verlos en sus cines muy cosmopolitas e irreales, chistes racista, estúpidos o/e hirientes; por esos rincones tienen aun un manejo por territorio, clanes y ley de silencio, tiene que lidiar un situación complicada entre parientes, pero por andarse metiendo donde “no debe” recibe una brutal paliza en la cual casi la matan pero nunca mostro miedo, aun después estos mismos que la lastiman que son sus propios familiares la ayudan; el final no es ni oneroso, triste, feliz, amargo, lalala no le rodear de lujos por tener una gran hazaña, no, para mí me mostro algo mucho más realista y aceptable, porque que salido de un problema, y así, continuara con su vida y camino.

No. 01.- Clare — CLAYMORE; Ella es una las mejores guerreras que he visto, tiene constantes caída pero es muy decidida; de niña vio como su hermano convertido en Yoma devoro a sus padres, aunque fue salvada por una Claymore termino siendo capturada por un Yoma que la usaba como su juguete o títere, después fue salvada por Teresa quien en principio la rechazaba pero su constancia le hizo ver que compartían el mismo sufrimiento, el vinculo que se formo de madre-hija la hizo volver su voz y sonrisa, cuando matan a Teresa lejos de hundirse se levanto para unirse a la organización, pidiendo que metan la sangre y carne en su cuerpo sosteniendo en sus brazos su cabeza decapitada; ya teniendo un rango dentro de las Claymore la colocan como la más baja de su generación, la infravaloran porque ¾ de su cuerpo son aun humanas cuando debería ser la mitad, siempre que hay un riesgo fuerte los tomo para que los demás no les pasa, su personalidad fría la adquirió por la muerte de Teresa pero en cuanto lo siente desborda la pasión que lleva dentro.

INFINITELY.- Alexiel — Angel Sanctuary; Esta angelita así como la ven de preciosa en realidad se considera ella misma un monstruo; cuando nació lo hizo devorando casi todo el ser de su hermano gemelo Rosiel, pidió ayuda a Dios para reparar su pecado involuntario, y siempre Dios ni generoso ni malevolente, lo hizo a cambio de que debía callar su cariño por su hermano, después permanecer encerrada por toda la eternidad en el Edén, se pasa a si miles de años hasta que llega Lucifer con la intención de matar a la “hija amada de Dios” por el odio y rencor de que le impuso Dios de ser el mismo la representación de toda la maldad, pero al enfrentarla se da cuenta que ella también está siendo sometida, se ve diciéndole que es su mujer y poco tiempo después la saca de su jaula de oro; ella libre llega a ver que la divina voluntad/capricho de Dios es todo una degradación, crímenes y corrupción del cielo, ante ello decide por eso declararle la guerra, cuando la capturan la sentencias por sus crímenes de alta traición, separando su cuerpo aprisionado en un cristal solido, de su alma destinada a encarnar siempre humana muriendo joven y de manera dolorosa, hasta que de ella surja un salvador; tan apasionada como lo es de silenciosa, tan fuerte como lo es de suave, ella puede producir en todos los que la conozcan tanto como odio o amor, o ambas cosas a la vez.

Claro que haré una de chicos, pero en esa si me voy a tardar mucho tiempo en verdad una difícil decisión, obvio los principales jamas cambiaran pero,.... no sé, muy complicado x///D

41st Annual Hunger Games - The Day Before

The first installment of a fanfic I started working on a while ago. Any critique you can give will be greatly appreciated.

17-year-old Sable Sulzbach lives a regular life in District 4: helping her mother with housework and her father with his fishing, and even does some fishing of her own. She also helps watch over 13-year-old Maris Engel, a girl who was born blind and whom Sable has grown to love like a little sister. It seems like a normal day, but with the Reaping for the 41st Hunger Games only a day away, fear is looming over the shoulders of both families.

Some of the other heroines I missed--and also tackling the remaining future heroes who I hadn't covered. (I almost left out Mala but remembered her just in the nick of time!) Again, this would have been an all girl slide except for the one choice regarding Kung Fu Kid (which is discussed below.)

Girl Power…. Mostly

Kung Fu Kid: Christopher Sean
If you’ve seen him in Lizzie Bennet Dairies, you tend to go between ‘aww, Bing Lee’s so sweet’ and ‘you moron! Don’t listen to your bad friend/sister!’ and ultimately are won over by his awesome wooing of Jane. He’s a fantastic form and can play the very proper, nice guy who’s a total sweetheart. Able to play the reserved, sage wisdom I can also seem him busting a move—which also makes him a good Val. Keeping /his/ gender ambiguous might be more difficult—but equally entertaining. In my head, I’ve always learned toward KFK being a girl, but Christopher would be a great surprise.

Kung Fu Kid: Jenna Ushkowitz (Familiar with the role of the stronger woman and with the proper ethnicity, I think Jenna would feel right at home in the shoes of one of the most enigmatic Heroes from Future-G. Val’s got a very mysterious past and likes to keep her gender ambiguous, and I’ve always seen her as a Mulan like figure—I think Jenna would rock the roll and have fun.

Airforce: Heather Morris
Blonde and spunky, play her as strong and smarter than her glee counterpart, and I think Ms. Morris here could be a really great Amazon. Dumb blonde? I think not. This could really be a strong role that blows away the ditzy stereotype she’s played. I also thought she didn’t look too far off from the one picture of her and Marvelous found here: [link] And she’s look great in that outfit!

Marvelous: Alice Eve
Most recently portraying Carol Marcus, a strong leading lady in Star Trek: Into Darkness, she’s got strong features and a personality fit for Marvelous. I also think she’d rock a toga and have a really fun, intellectual, no-nonsense approach to crime fighting.

Beast Girl: Ashley Clemens
Beautiful, witty, and very expressive, I think she would be up to the challenge of approaching one of our most visibly challenging characters. Whether it’s prosthetics or CGI, the actress taking on this animalistic girl will need to be able to work with a body that’s half human, half animal. With her ability to have witty banter and her expressive face, Clemens would be easily up for this challenge.

Lady Falcon: Allison Paige
While she hasn’t been in much, Allison is a lovely young woman with a soft spoken voice and equally quiet strength. She also could be able to match nicely as the sibling of Ellen Page, who was my Impakt [I agreed with another’s casting]. She has strong features and would look great under the mask and wings. I think she’d have a commanding presence and do the role justice.

Hamlin: Dianna Agron
I always liked this particular actress, even if she has played a not so nice character in Glee. I think she’s fairly talented and could really do a lot with one of our younger villains—one with a disability to boot. She’s also musically inclined and has the right sort of build (and pretty face) for our Piped Piper. I’d really liked to see her tackle this role, and how she’s approach the various challenges Hamlin would present.

Nocturnal: Willow Shields
Remember Primrose Everdeen from the Hunger Games? If not, rewatch the movie or go see it! It's fantastic! While she's 13 and a little older than Nocturnal, again, make up does wonders and will give her a little better understanding of the role. Not to mention she's used to playing in a future distopia where barbarianism is the rule. She's pretty, she's talented, and could play the more savage sister this time around. She's have to work with extensive make up or CG to really take on the role, but that's a small price to play for such a fun character!

First things first: EHE, HERRO EVERYBODY, HELLO CAMUCCHIN, HELLO. THIS IS ENTIRELY ONE-SIDED TEASING FROM MARIA, nothing serious, not even canon.

Initially, this was only a very, very quick sketch I was tempted to do yesterday, during an RP - it was fun... But, as already mentioned, this hasn't happened so far. ~~Yet.~~ No funny feelings between the two!! Just a preying Maria...
Actually, I'm way too busy to draw anything at all atm... ....but today turned out to be very... unexpected, if not unpleasant. A lot of sudden things happened in school, and I needed some stress relief (= dose of lilies).

Wish: Her parents were arguing constantly. None of her father's inventions work. They were running out of money. Seeing all these problems, Margo wished she could 'fix everything'. Unfortunately for her, that wish came true in a literal sense. She became a miracle worker, able to fix any dysfunctional object or machine. She now feels the urge to return them to their original state and would work on them for days without a wink of sleep. The fact that she's stuck in a circus that's wearing down doesn't help either.

Personality: Margo could be seen as rather distant, usually doing her job without answering the calls of anyone who want to have a conversation. She's by no means shy however. Only reason why she doesn't respond at first is because her wish makes her too focused on her job. It'll take quite a bit to get her attention.

She's pretty loud and a bit of a tease. An air of confidence seems to linger around her despite her labour. She does get crabby from time to time due to her lack of sleep.

This girl can talk. A lot. Most of the time she doesn't know when to stop as she tends to get cocky and think she shouldn't be talked over. Being in the circus for as long as she had (which really isn't that long at all compared to the other workers) has led her to believing that she knows how the place works. She's not one to follow orders if they come from newbies or anyone younger than herself. Unless she gets something in return that is. Yep, she can be bribed.

Despite all that though, she's loyal and can be a pretty good friend when she needs to be. She knows what fun is and isn't afraid to do anything out of the norm. She's always there for those in need of help and is surprisingly a good listener if she stops talking.

History: Margo Tanner. June 2. Fy-oh-nay. I'm no performer in the Big Top with all their flips and pizzazz. Nor am I one of those freak shows just looking... weird. I'm not even in charge of the many game booths or food stands that linger around this circus. No. I'm just a repairman in a place that constantly breaks. Yep. Not the best job in the world ain't it? As if I had a choice. You heard of how us workers are forced to stay here on account of our wishes being granted. How we have to be at the top of our game or risk death, maybe worse. Well I'm no different. I wished for something that I highly regretted to this day. Want to learn more about it? Then we gotta roll back time quite a bit. Don't worry the story's pretty short. Maybe.

My kind's supposed to know where we're born. But I don't. All I remember's that my 'parents' told me I was found popping up through a gutter. Despite all the sewage I was covered in, they took me in. Cleaned me, fed me, babied me as if I was one of their own. No, I don't know why they were doing all that either but eh. Some questions just don't have answers. Anyways, back to my parents. Mom had a stable job in the factory while dad was an inventor. Everyday I'd go down to his workshop and watch over what he was making next. As the years went by and I could no longer just sit around, I was sent to school. Learned basic stuff like english and math. Made friends, rivals and all that other good stuff.

So that was my lifestyle back then. Seemed normal enough. Though things started to spiral down.

Failure after failure after failure. That's how dad's contraptions were doing. According to my mom, he was using more money than usual to buy more parts for his machines. Money that could've gone towards food, water, y'know... stuff we needed to live. There was a lot of arguing. Mom said he should give up and get a 'real' job while he on the other hand refused. Lasted days, weeks, maybe months, I wasn't keeping count. And then one day, I single-handedly caused their divorce.

Dad was at it with his tinkering again. He thought he was about to make a breakthrough. A machine that can actually store energy. With that he could just build wherever he wanted without worrying about not having a power supply. So I was there watching as I always had. Mom was even there too and for once she seemed excited as I was. 'Cause y'know, the prestigious awards that come with such a feat didn't hurt either. It took a few hours of dad working and me staring when it was finally finished. With a flip of a switch, it sputtered to life. You couldn't imagine how happy my parents were at that moment. While they were cheering, I thought there was something wrong with the machine. One oddly placed wire with nothing attached to it. That's what I thought I saw. I reached my hand towards it without my parents noticing and pulled it right out. Worst mistake I ever made.

It really was a loose wire yet somehow the contraption stopped. It just... did. My parents stopped celebrating. Dad's disappointed, mom's furious. She blamed him; told him that he was a failure and always will be. More yelling. More shouting. My mom stormed out of the building while he just sobbed. All that happened because of me. I caused the machine to stop working after all. I tried to look for my mom but after a few minutes I knew she was gone. Giving up, I sat there by the curb, crying. That's right, I cried. I was 14 so sue me.

Right then would be a good time for some kind of saving grace right? Well I just had to settle for a mysterious tall guy telling me that he could grant me a wish. I was pretty broken down and, thinking I was doing something right, I wished I could fix everything. Get my parents back together, have all dad's inventions work, everything. Of course he decided to take my wish more literally. I was whisked away in black smoke, came here and was given some tools. I was cursed to fix stuff for all eternity. Yeah, I'm well aware that I'll never leave. Didn't try to bargain with him with all that 'do this and the wish gets reversed' junk 'cause even I know he won't keep his word. So yep. No hope for me. Whoopdee-freaking-doo.

Species information:
1. Basic information: Jorogumos are a species of Changeling native to Neighpon. Unlike Chrysalis's species, Jorogumos are more spider-like in physiology, & more closely resemble an actual pony (specifically an alicorn) when undisguised. The only thing keeping undisguised jorogumos from passing off as alicorns are pointy teeth, odonatoid wings ("odonatoid" means the wings look like those of a dragonfly/damselfly), having 5 pairs of legs, & cloven hooves.
2. Physiology:
  1. Overview: Jorogumos tend to have a moderately low metabolism, especially considering the fact that their combination of a spider physiology & an alicorn's size should leave them with a ridiculously high metabolism. They have 6 eyes, the 2 seen on Boom's mug here, & 2 under each of those. The smaller eyes are commonly mistaken for freckles. They breath through their hip region, via a series of elaborate folds on the area by the chest region. It should be noted that what appears to be the tail is really the abdomen where the gonads, anus, spinnerets, intestine, heart, & such are kept. The "cephalothorax" (everything from the head to what appears to be their flank) contains their brain, eyes, limbs, stomach, mouth, main hearing organs, respiratory organs, kidneys, & such.
  2. Blood circulation: Jorogumos have an open circulatory system, meaning there are no vessels. Instead, blood restores nutrients to internal organs by directly bathing them in specialized "blood sinuses", for lack of a better term. The only true blood vessels are the heart (located in the top of the abdomen) & the aortic network (situated over the top of the stomach in the cephalothorax). Their blood is copper-based & green, as opposed to iron-based & red. Additionally, the immune system is stationed here.
  3. Urinary regulation: Jorogumos possess a set of structures called "Malphigian Tubules", which serve the same function for them that kidneys do in vertebrates. Jorogumos do not urinate, instead they excrete guano (a mixture of fecal matter & urine). The Tubules are loose-floating, open into the digestive tract at their point of attachment, & are closed at their free end.
  4. Digestive system: Jorogumos live on a meat diet, although their bodies are perfectly capable of precessing plant matter. They generally seduce, then ensnare unfortunate sentient beings of the opposite gender to themselves, then eat the trapped souls. Their fangs contain a venom that paralyses its victim. The incisor fangs are actually articulated. Additionally, jorogumo saliva contains enzymes that dissolve the internal organs of the victim. The stomach has powerful muscles that let the creature suck the liquefied guts out. The intestine is located in the abdomen, directly underneath the heart. The usual peristalsis/acid results here.
  5. Webs: Like all ordinary spiders, Jorogumos have structures called "spinnerets", which allow them to make webs. It should be noted that despite the fact that their physiology resembles a spider species that lives in webs, Jorogumos only build webs as traps (whether for prey, pranks, or just trying to catch someone to ask them a question). In the event that a Jorogumo ends up using its web as its personal domicile, their feet are designed to minimize the risk of getting themselves stuck in the adhesive goop. The adaptations include a ridged structure on each digit, as well as a tuft of hair on the palm that minimizes direct skin contact with the adhesive. Also, they can eat their own webs in the event of a lack of prey/food shortage.
  6. Reproduction: the gonads of a jorogumo are located on top of its abdomen, offset to each side of the heart. A jorogumo's gonads are very sensitive, like a male pony's. Indeed, trauma to the top-left/top-right of a jorogumo's abdomen can have the same result as an injury to between the rear legs on a male pony: painfully distracted, if not fallen to the ground as a result of nerve twitches in the 4^th pair of hips. Both results are usually accompanied by the inflictee using its pedipalps (unseen, but Jorogumos have 4 pairs of walking legs. Boom is just hiding pairs 1 through 3 to avoid creeping ponies out, while using her pedipalps as front legs to support her buck.) to clutch its abdomen while speaking in a significantly higher voice until the pain wears off. During reproduction, the male (who will usually be half the size of his consort) will use his pedipalps to transfer sperm to the female's fertilization cavity. After the eggs are fertilized, the female will often eat the male, unless the male brought a prey item with him.
  7. Respiration: Jorogumos use a structure called "book lungs" to breathe. These structures consist of folded pleats of soft skin, kept moist enough to allow for direct-surface gas exchange by a large amount of blood sinuses & bodily moisture.
  8. Skeleton: Jorogumos have an exoskeleton, with their skin being made of chitin. As a result, when they shed their skin to grow, movement can be incredibly difficult.
  9. Limbs: Jorogumo limbs are very heavily muscled, to the point that they are often able to crumple a lead pipe as though it were paper.
  10. Senses: Jorogumos have very good hearing, which makes detecting prey dangerously easy for them. Their eyes are also very capable when it comes to sensing motion as well as seeing in color/forming images. Their sense of touch is also highly accurate, allowing them to sense INCREDIBLY light vibrations. They have tasting organs in their appendages, allowing them to track prey by essentially tasting the trail they leave behind.
  11. Flight: Like those in most species of Changelings, a jorogumo's wings are folds of their exoskeleton with blood sinuses looking like veins, as well as strong muscles in the base. This is in contrast to Pegasi, whose wings are modified legs. They can fly incredibly fast, but not for very long. This is because the above-mentioned copper blood cannot carry as much oxygen at once as a pony's iron blood
  12. Magic/abilities: In addition to shape-shifting abilities (strong enough to allow them to disguise as inanimate objects, as well as allowing them to copy the abilities of what they disguise themselves as), telekinesis, & offensive energy magic that are universal among changelings, jorogumos have "perception filtration abilities" that go along with their unusual ability to emulate the personality of the individual being impersonated. Essentially, when a jorogumo is in disguise, its disguise is seen as having the personality of its impersonatee by the impersonatee's associates, but the jorogumo's true personality by the Jorogumo's associates. They also have fire manipulation abilities which are commonly used both for self defense & everyday things where fire would be useful & safe to use. They also have suggestion/telepathic powers, allowing a strong mental hold over their victims. Their psychic abilities also give the form of a readout in their eyeballs, with stuff like an equipment selection menu, a personal vital signs monitor, a protective systems monitor (only active if they're wearing some sort of armor that isn't part of them), equipment statistics (context sensitive to whatever they happen to have out at the moment, has stuff like ammo tracking, ammo type, a "magazine full" indicator, a "reserve full" indicator, trackers for primary & secondary ammo, battery meters for weapons that need to be recharged. If they have no equipment, this doesn't show up), an objective menu (only appearing if they have to get something done. Example: if they have to catch something, the psychic HUD will show them where the target item is relative to where the jorogumo is looking.), a stamina meter (indicates how much physical exertion ability they have at any given moment), a mana meter (indicates how much they can use their magic before their magic abilities are out of juice), an oxygen meter (only shows when in a situation where they can't breathe), a "sprint meter" (records how much running energy they have left. When it runs dry, they have to walk), an exhaustion bar (represents how much "awake energy" they have at the moment), a hunger meter (a timer that indicates how long before its user has to eat), a sanity meter (shows how much of their mental stability is gone after facing things that could cause insanity), a "wanted meter" (shows how much of the law enforcement's ire they've raised), & a charge meter (some executions of jorogumo abilities take time to prepare. This meter shows how close such an attack is to being ready).
3. Culture: Not much is known here. Jorogumos generally mingle as much as as possible with ponies, & put as much value into family as they do into friendships.

Biography:
1. Not much is known about Cannon Boom Spider's past before she 1^st met Writing Brain (aside from what she told him herself). What is known is that she was born on October 30, 1991 in Bison City, North Carolineigh to a pair of Jorogumos whose ancestors had moved to Equestria from Neighpon. Boom's mom was the head of the "anomalous dealings" department for the Bison City Police Department's Special Weapons And Tactics division, while her dad was a weapons dealer for the Equestrian Air Force. They were a rare case where the wife didn't eat the husband after mating. Boom herself always had a love of music. However, she was highly intelligent for a 3-year old jorogumo. Reading teleportation research documents also sparked an interest in theoretical physics in her stomach-mounted brain.
2. Filly-hood: Boom started trying to make her own music at age 7. Using the bits she invested from various summer jobs (due to the nature of their jobs, her parents were often away for business. Also, her foal-sitter was rather open about how children should at least be able to care for themselves in the event of frequently absent parents. However, her parents also devoted as much time as their schedules would allow to raising their child.), she purchased an acoustic guitar & a synthesizer. She had trouble getting through elementary school, more due to racists then bad grades. When she started 4th grade, she met an Elleneighkan (In real life, "Ellenika" is the Greek spelling for "Hellenic", which is the Greek-language term for "of Greek origin") satyr named Divine Will. They got along greatly, eventually starting to date. They also attempted to form a band. This failed as a result of Divine's horrid singing skills & their lack of success at coming up with a cool name. Divine had to leave for "vegan training" shortly after they graduated elementary school. Boom had trouble with relationships after that. Her 13^th birthday occurred on October 30, 2004.
3. Adolescence: Boom spent this part of her life doing a lot of working out, as well as training for various firearm licenses. This was in addition to still getting good grades in the end of her junior high school tenure/her whole high school tenure. She also started developing violent tendencies toward those who hurt her loved 1s around this point. She brought a laptop from money she made in her school guitar shows. When Boom got the laptop, she decided to put her theoretical physics skills to good use & sign up for a college in Stable Island, New Yoke. Her parents (& little sister) were planning on moving there at that time, as Rapid Precision (mother) got a transfer while Defensive Deal (father) had to deal with the permanent closing down of the base he was stationed at after the boss was disillusioned with the death of her secretary in a nasty accident. He got full "honorably discharged" status, however, as compensation for losing his job. They finally moved on June 25, 2009. The move was troubling for them, due to everything leading up to it being so sudden. As for Boom herself, she adapted easily, & focused her carnivorous tendencies on criminals, killers, rapists, & other "bad ponies". 2 weeks before starting college, she met Writing Brain while going through hyperspace route systems & ending up in his head while he was dreaming. She lured him to herself with her guitar skills, & brought him to her mental vision of her then-current house. Even though she tried to eat him at 1^st (there was a sadistic museum robber who happened to look exactly like the poor guy, save for the cutie mark. She was going through hyperspace to track his mental signal, & when she went by Writing Brain's mind, something about him screwed with her telepathic tracking powers & caused her to lose the scent. His similarity in appearance to her extended target caused her to wing it.), he managed to explain that she got the wrong stallion (& showed her his cutie mark to prove it). They kept meeting in his dreams (Boom was out at night a lot) until August 26, 2009. On that day, they met in the waking world for the 1^st time at the 2009 "Welcome Freshmen" party at College of Stable Island, where she still got him to come to her by playing her guitar. Over the next few months, Writing met some of Boom's friends. Among these were Bleep (a bitchy griffin who became Boom's roommate in college) & Bow Bass (an Eastern Weather Dragon who was dating Bleep). Fire Storm (a Fenghuang) & Tidal Hoof (a hippocampus) were also with them. Bow Bass, Storm, & Hoof were in a band that Writing Brain started (See Writing Brain's profile for details on the band's history). On October 30, 2009, Boom turned 18, & she & Writing started dating.
4. Mare-hood: As Writing came to the conclusion that he was now definitively a weirdness magnet, their 1^st big adventure as a couple was an incident in 2010 involving a inter-dimensional terrorist group called "Le Phoenix Vert" (Prench for "The Green Phoenix"), who based their operations in Boom's world in Prance. This group was led by 2 individuals called only "The Stallion With A Beard But No Mane" & "The Mare With A Mane But No Beard". This also involved something Boom's coltfriend thought was over & done with in April 2007: On October 9, 2004, 4 of his then-eventual friends discovered a deactivated supercomputer system under the remains of a demolished factory in Prance's capitol. This system also had teleportation scanners, & was mostly built out of a substance called "exertainium". After activating it, they found a great evil was stored in it. There was also a 12-year-old alicorn filly named "Hackette" in there. After finding out the origins of the supercomputer, Hackette, & a virtual world contained in the supercomputer (Hackette got her pre-virtualization memories-which were ripped out of her mind by the trapped evil, thus binding her to the supercomputer-back after they found out the computer's origins. Unfortunately, the evil escaped in that process.), Writing's friends eventually destroyed that evil & shut down the supercomputer. When The Green Phoenix came after them, they found out more about the horrid truth behind the supercomputer: its creator was once a member of The Green Phoenix, & was commissioned to lead "Project Carthage" for them. It was intended to disrupt communications on a global scale, taking the mass panic that terrorists cause up to 11. When the project's leader found out, he decided to atone by defecting & building the supercomputer & the evil to destroy what had been made so far of Project Carthage. When The Green Phoenix kidnapped the leader's wife in retaliation, the leader & Hackette (who was his daughter) fled to a house in the mountains. He managed to finish the Carthage Elimination System, thanks to a convenient "time-reverse" system (he was discovering its capabilities as he went along) that he ended up hitting 2,546 times. Finally, when The Green Phoenix field agents (who happen to disguise themselves as the Prench versions of "Stallions In Black"-type Government agents) caught up with them, The creator & Hackette fled to the virtual world. The evil became evil at this point, & The Creator forcibly shut down the supercomputer. The restart of this problem also involved Writing's friends getting a new member. The evil also got an associate. The evil itself was acting by possessing a college mare (a fragment of the evil survived the attempted deletion). After getting to Stable Island, 1 of its 1^st targets was Writing Brain due to his connection with its enemies. When Boom grew suspicious, the bespectacled Stallion explained everything. Fortunately, they managed to stop it once & for all. Things somewhat slowed down afterwards, with Boom becoming something of a bitch. She sold her (rather expensive) anime DVDs, her collector's toys, & other stuff. She started reinventing herself with the resulting dough, & started preferring to be called "C.B." (This eventually became developed into "Cabbie".) It came to a head on the day before Labor Day 2013, when she dumped Writing & forced him out of her life. She moved to Pigeon Forge, Tenneighsee. The change in college also led to some trouble getting her theoretical physics PhD back on track. She was living away from her parents by now. After moving away, she reunited with Divine Will. He now had psychic abilities as a result of being vegan (mostly telekinesis, energy attacks, levitation, & telepathy). They decided to start a band called "Bash At Demon-Herd". Divine played guitar & Boom was on synthesizer. A 3^rd member, a Neighponese seapony named "Power Fin", was on Drums. Power Fin never spoke much, & was mostly in the background (she tended to blend in a lot-she had the ability to literally do so). She had a bionic left front leg, complete with telescoping ability. She was actually Divine's college roommate. The Jorogumo became even more of a bitch, eventually culminating in her reuniting with Writing, Bleep, & Bow Bass (& being introduced to Blade Nymph & Tide Pool-Tide Pool was Tidal Hoof's older brother) after 1 of her shows in January 2015. Writing had a new marefriend at this point, an equinomorphic Myrmecoleon named "Pummel Portal". Divine turned out to have dated Pummel during their latter high school days, & wanted to kill Writing. Even though he initially had the upper hoof, Writing tricked him into drinking half & half (Writing was psychically immune, so Divine couldn't read his mind & had to guess at his plans. This enabled the Earth Pony to use his telepathy against him) & losing his powers (as the authorities put it, "No vegan diet, no vegan powers"). He was also going mentally unstable after Boom dumped him (Divine was cheating on her with Power Fin). Earlier, Boom got a hold of Pummel's hammer & tried to squish her. Apparently, being with Divine made Boom's bitchiness even worse. Additionally, she tried to splat Power Fin's brains all over the wall, but Power Fin teleported out after insulting mammals & jorogumos. Boom managed to smash her bionic limb off, though. Pummel kept it for her wall. Shortly before leaving, Boom Spider apologized to Writing for breaking his heart & gave him a saddlebag with all his weapons & equipment (he lost it in the process of ending an alien takeover). The stallion commented "What is this, Trot Pilgrim?" 10 months later, she was dating Pummel's coltfriend from before Writing. During the fight between the 2 stallions, she realized the relationship was a hollow 1. She hugged Writing, finally feeling truly terrible for what she did to him. This was their closure.
Persona: Cannon Boom Spider is an insanely loyal mare. She does not take disloyalty from anypony, be it from subordinates, friends, or relationship partners. She has a literal taste for criminals, as well as a thing for earth ponies in relationships. She likes being active & enjoys video games. She holds a grudge against kelpies (in my My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic ficverse, the changeling species that Chrysalis is a member of represents the Scottish/Irish mythological creature known as "kelpies".) for giving Changeling-kind a bad name as a result of the "Royal Wedding Incident". She does as much as she can to be an exception to the rule: her pony associates know she's a Changeling, but she is very different from Chrysalis & her ilk. She can also be kind of a bitch. Boom is rather camera-shy, but only with private photography (stuff like photos with her family & friends. She wouldn't even let Writing take a picture of her). She also would rather not meet Writing's family (despite his repeated insistence) because she is worried about them thinking she's just pretending to be his marefriend. She has a morbid approach to dealing with criminals she doesn't eat right away, torturing them & doing gruesome things to them WHILE THEY CAN FEEL IT. Her morbidness extends to some of her art. She also can be very cute in behavior, since she tries not to scare ponies with her 8 legs & dragonfly wings. This Jorogumo is also viciously protective of her coltfriend. Basically, if somepony tries to hurt him, she will turn into a ray-gun machine gun turret & make them unable to walk without pain for 6 weeks.

Draw/write/illustrate something about a person in your character's life who is/was important to them.

You may use your Capitol Citizen, Mentor, or Tribute, living or deceased, significant other, family member, friend, anyone really. Just show us a little bit about someone in your character's life and story who was important to them and may have had personal impact on them.

The minimum for drawings is a sketch and the minimum for writing is half a page.

So, here's Tess and four other people that are important to her.

Going from left to right, the first person is her annoying neighbor, Drake Reed. He's her age and was in her grade until she left school to go to work ("psh, books are boring!" That was a bad idea). When she first met Drake, they weren't overly fond of each other. However, over time, they've started hating each other a bit less. They're constantly pulling practical jokes on each other in a never-ending feud that's usually good-natured... until someone takes it too far (this has resulted in several less-than-friendly "warnings" from Peacekeepers). Tess considers Drake more of a "frenemy" than an actual friend, but she spends most of her time with him because she hates most other people in the district.

Next to Drake is Ohmund Little. He's two years older than her and often picks on her, but as she got older she started fighting back. Now, they get into fights almost every day and it's up to Craig to break them up (the others usually cheer from the sidelines). Tess and Ohmund are enemies and Tess would relish watching him in the Hunger Games and vice-versa. (Ohmund must be feeling pretty great now, huh?)
Whenever Tess loses a fight to Ohmund, she gets back at him in one way or another. He still can't figure out who superglued his toilet seat shut.

Next to him is Flynn Little, Ohmund's twin. Flynn is one of Drake's friends and sometimes talks to Craig, and he hangs out with Tess when there's nobody else to talk to. He's usually fairly nice to her, but when Ohmund's teasing Tess he often joins in. However, when Tess and Ohmund get into a fight (and this happens a lot), Flynn usually cheers Tess on from the sidelines (mostly just to spite Ohmund). Once, when he was feeling nice, Flynn tried to teach Tess how to use a knife. This ended quite poorly. Tess still hasn't stopped apologizing for the extensive scar across Flynn's forehead.
Tess thinks of Flynn as a friendly acquaintance, though he can be a jerk sometimes.

Finally, there's Craig. Craig is Tess's brother and elder by two years. Sometimes they get into squabbles but they're usually pretty close. He's extremely protective over her (this annoys Tess, and a majority of their arguments start with the words "I can take care of myself, Craig!") He taught her how to street fight and sometimes goes running with her. However, he's a lot faster and stronger than her, which she hates, so she usually runs by herself.
When work is slow and hard times hit, Tess's parents and Craig eat a lot less than they normally would to save money (without telling Tess, of course), but if they get desperate, Craig buys tesserae.
He remembers his older sister Annalise a lot more clearly than Tess does, and sometimes Tess reminds him of Annalise. When this happens, he gets really quiet and avoids Tess for a while, driving her into a state of confusion and loneliness. During these times, Tess runs a lot more than usual (and usually sets a new PR).
When Tess got picked at the Reaping, he almost shouted "I VOLUNTEER!" before remembering that she was a female and he was not.

A manga I do about a suburban girl that movies to the city of montreal and fins out that not everything is how it seems.
For the cover, I decided to do a diffrent style just for fun.
THIS VOLUMES PLOT AND CHAPTERS!
1. Camping : Amy desperately want to get away from the city heat, and arranges with Aya and Claire to go camping for a weekend. However everything seems to want to ruin their trip, including rain, horsefly’s, and
2. New york’s Chinatown : After Hiro wins a contest for a trip to New York and four friends, he chooses to bring his mom, Aya, Claire and Amy with him on this trip, and everyone seems to do actual normal things for a while, and even start to relax! That is....until they accidently piss off some gang members.
3. I am Quebecois ; Canada day is coming fast, and Amy gets put in charge of making a Canada-float for that parade along with her classmates. (Hiro signed up because he gets turned on by girls building.....anything with girls turns him on) However the new girl Charlotte (Introducing new character) is determined to make this float completely Quebec, because she is a hard core separatist. This leads both Amy and Charlotte in a political debate that ends up on the news!
4: (EXTRA) Hunger Games V Battle Royal : After fighting over what movie did the same thing better, both Amy and Claire have dreams that are parody’s of both the hunger games and battle royal.

As in the fairytale inspiration, our hero finds himself missing a leg, and we see some ways in which Peeta is steadfast.

Canon Divergence for the purposes of artistic license: PANEL ONE: Katniss was slumped to the floor and nonresponsive outside the operating area before they would have started removing his leg. She only saw them repeatedly restart his heart. I fudged the timing a little bit to meld her narrative with what she learns about his operation later. PANEL FOUR: the kiss in the snow before the Victory Tour takes place after they have fallen to the ground.

The silhouettes surrounding Peeta are, from the left: Brutus, Katniss, Finnick, (Peeta), Johanna, Enobaria, Beetee. Each is pictured with their preferred weapon (Enobaria's remade teeth included). Peeta actually has one as well - he's wearing his locket, which for him, as Katniss says, "is the perfect weapon" against her.

Backup

While this is an updated picture of my 'Backup' model, I couldn't find the black paracord clamps that I usually have on the end of the lanyard. Since the picture was taken, I have found them. Things tend to go missing when you are trying to finish everything at once.

So! I'm going to try to start posting a knife every Monday. I'm whittling down the amount of orders at a pretty brisk pace, compared to how things were going before. I typically allow Sunday to be my day for doing what I want to do. Usually that is a mix of experiments or working on the handful of swords that I've been messing with for eons now.

Since I've been needing a new reference pic of Cal for a while, and I've made a few changes to her over the past year, I thought I'd do this. Plus, I needed a good reference for 's "Ninjago Hunger Games". Instead of her green striped hoodie, she now has a green striped tee under a denim vest. She also wears shorts now (shorts are cool *badum tch*). She no longer has the black and white streaks in her hair. I toned down her angry personality a bit, but she still keeps a sharp, good-sized folding knife (kinda like this one, maybe? [link] in the pocket that she's got her hand in. I'm a bit proud that I finally drew somebody NOT looking straight ahead.

Before anyone says anything, yes, I know you can show someone giving someone the finger in a 12 certificate film (hell, you can even show it in a PG certificate film... sometimes anyway, it depends on the context).

But, yeah, luckily I was smart enough not to see any of the recent major films ["The Hunger Games", "A Good Day To Die Hard", "The Woman In Black", "Taken 2", "Jack Reacher" etc...] which were cut by the BBFC (on request of the studios) in order to get a more commercial 12A cinema certificate.

I can see why the studios do this, but it's kind of depressing how things are being censored for purely commercial reasons (hell, censorship is depressing anyway - let alone for commercial reasons). I mean, a 12-rated "Die Hard" film? What were those corporate melonfarmers thinking!?!?!?!?!?!?!!

Then again, the 12 certificate didn't even exist until a year or two after I turned 12 and I remember being seriously disappointed that I couldn't see "Independence Day" at the cinema when I was a kid. So, I can kind of understand why the 12A cert is a good thing - but, still, it's depressing that the UK often gets watered-down versions of films which everyone else in the English speaking world sees uncut.
