Phew!! Finally FINISHED!!!!
This took me around... let me count... 9 hours!!! o.O God! That was long! xDD You don't even understand how much I'm proud of this! :3 It's the first time I draw lineless on only one layer... well, I shaded on one layer, I colored on multiple ones.. xD

Anyway, here's a brand new character of mine who's yet to be named xD Well, I was thinking about naming her Dyksta, but I don't know... She's my second fursona replacing Isis She's the other side of myself. Every feature she has means something about me and my personality. And I love her very very much even if I've had her only since a couple of days. I see myself in her, you know what I mean?
The green things around her is supposed to be lianas. They flourish when spring comes and lose their flowers in autumn. I would've drawn those flowers, but I don't know which to chose xDD I want a flower that represents me

So this is the first real piece of art I've done all summer. I've had lack of inspiration, save for working as an icon. I know its shitty, the anatomy sucks and my coloring is flawed. Its not really up for critique. Just to show that I haven't died and I do attempt to draw from time to time.

Personality: Geoffrey is an old fashioned kind of guy, who's serious literally all the time. He acts like the older brother, and feels obligated to be responsible for everything around him. He has little true friends, and other than that, he likes to spend time by himself, reading the paper or writing. He's easily irritated and has quite the temper, but with his close friends he's a nice guy, who's actually quite gentle and understanding.
Other: He was born and raised in Blackburn, Lancashire, England, and he's got quite the heavy Lanky accent.

Felt like drawing an Orca And because I should definitely draw more dolphins and whales, I decided to just - well... draw Fynwah, you know? xD
Fynwah is my Orca Character and a good friend of my fursona Melody
At first this startes as a 'normal' Orca and then I added scars and his jewellery :3
This is some kind of an attempt to draw realistic, but I'm not that good in stuff like that yet. I still need to work on that

Hey ladies and gentlemen! My what a beautiful day it is!

Okay so. I've been thinking of updating my fursona a little.
The really creepy part of it all is that this design looks like my fursona like 4 years ago when I was into "Warriors".
I named her Tabbywing, and she was an orange tabby with wings :"D
Yes. I know. Very realistic. BUT IT WAS A FURSONA. So ;u; yeah
Same colors as that fursona too lol, orange, yellow, darker orange, and white.

BUT ANYWAYYYY
Things I changed: around ears is now white, main body color is slightly more yellow, longer antlers, wings obviously, and thats it :"D
THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL. I might just keep my current fursona. I'm not sure ;u;

how do you comfort someone when there is none? no bright side? no good thing you can say?

I dont know what to say. my friend's ex is purposely hurting her by hurting her friend. So she confronted him about it and was reduced to tears at the end (and Ari NEVER cries! EVER!).
So now she has to pretend she isn't friends anymore to protect her friend and her ex is still blackmailing her. it sux!

and i cant say a word to help. i don't know how to comfort ppl...

(she doesnt hav a fursona, so i made one up for her...)

Anomalies Year One

^{This very day, February 14, 2010, marks the anniversary that my story, Anomalies, has come into being and has since been developed. I've been uber psyched about this day for like 2 months!

No doubt, this story has made me want to pull my hair out on numerous occassions. Just getting the characters taken care of has so far been my biggest hassle, and guess what? I'm not even done yet. Yup, you can totally expect more characters to come.

But here I am showing you a massive conglomerate of Anomalies characters in one lump deviation. I call this a Face Card set. I will slowly update these cards and add new ones. (By that, I don't mean I will reupload newer versions of this set periodically in this deviation. I think I'll post a new version next anniversary, I'm not sure. lol.)

Yes, there is totally an order to this chaos! It's a very rough lay out of OLDEST to NEWEST characters. TG/MLs are not in their proper places and the first three cards are in reverse. Other than those minor offsets, these characters are roughly in order.

Some face cards have Hero Machine faces because I haven't drawn a better version of the character or haven't drawn them at all. And then credit for No Image Available Cards: no_image.gif

To further mark this awesome day, I totally commissioned my DA Buddy, =silver6kraid, to make me a poster relating to Anomalies!}

As the title of this implies, it's not new. I drew it maybe ten months back. I was in one of those moods where I missed the gang, and curled up on the couch/floor and spent hours doodling this while playing "Our Song" by Taylor Swift.
Cause that song was, sure, in a way, 'our song.' Haha. It would be played at the end of choir sometimes, and... well, we'd sing along. lmao.
Might not be the most... uh, fitting song, but... memories.
I'm still me.
Arielle's changed the most, grown apart.
Katy's still her.
Steph's changed some, but for the best; she always had potential, finally acting on it.
Chelsea is still... her.
Jackie, no idea what happened with her. Lost touch entirely after the summer.

Sam, well, I... really need to call her... today.

I still like this...

I decided to make Hero Machine versions of my personas and extra characters I'm thinking of making a story about. I made a poll on DA for you to vote on whether you think I should make a story with these people or not.

I like Hero Machine, it's good enough to lay down a character's features. Plus I can have consistency so I can see the big differences and not the technical errors of my sketches. I think there should be way more options for just about every section, though. These were made with Hero Machine Classic.

Characters who look really close to how I see them:
Azure, Arianna, Angela B., Anna, Amy & Amanda W., Angelique Von Doom II.

Other Tidbits:
^{- The one for myself, Arielle J., looks nothing like me. Lol.
- I like the concept for Angie's shirt, I might incorporate that as a super-hero costume for her since she's not a regular person.
- Arianna doesn't have a bow on her head but that bow makes her look nice, but not childish, she still looks like a grown woman.
- Andarena and Angie have red in their costumes, not pink/magenta.
- The last four of the group all have a dark red in their costumes, not magenta, lol.
- I don't like Angelique I's pants, I'll most likely change them.
- I couldn't find a better cape for Angela.
- The shorties of the group: Myself, Andarena, and Arianna.
- Possible Antagonists: Aric, Angelique & Angelique the Second, Azure (didn't see that one, huh?), and possibly Angie C.
- I tried making Aric look like me in the Hero Machine generator, lol.
- Anna and Jacob have the same colors, the only difference is Jacob wearing a suit and tie.
- Personas with dark brown hair: Me, Aric, Andarena, Anna and Jacob.
- Personas with glasses: Me, Aric, Arianna, and Angela.
- Aric and I don't usually wear a tux, there was just no hoodie option in the Hero Machine.

Character Briefing:^{Arielle J.: Me! My depiction of myself changes along with how I change in real life. Right now I have a pixie hair cut, but here wasn't an option for that.
Aric J.: He's my man-self, basically me with the y chromosome instead of two x's. Aric is basically a womanizing, sports-playing, closet poet. He's complicated.
Angie C.: She's my fursona, in other words... taking on animal characteristics of an animal I like/consider myself similar to. She's part bobcat. She's most likely a kicker of puppies.
Andarena: My first super-hero persona, also known as "Queen of the Eighth Floor." Her story got altered to where she's not so much a super-hero as she is an alien. She comes from a distant planet. She's supposed to be a queen of some good portion of land there but she didn't want to marry her betrothed to get it. That's why she came here.
Azure: Azure was created back when I was in 10th grade, she's my inner self when I'm depressed. Until up about a year ago, she assumed the name Arielle, but I changed it to Azure so that there would only be one Arielle. I have a scene of her unleashing some mega fury from a dream I had and if I make the story, that dream will be incorporated.
Arianna: She's my Cartoon me! I drew little chibi cartoony representations of me and my friends. So for the longest time she was called "Cartoon AJ." She's depicted with a long-sleeved shirt and a full-length skirt with some shoes. She's a very cheerful and wildly expressive representation of myself.
Angela B.: She was created with a Harry Potter character generator here on DA (by =porotto) so she is myself if I were in Harry Potter. Her favorite spell is one she "invented" called the "Shoopus mah woopus." (Taken from the Lazer Collection, lulz.)
Anna: Anna is the personification of Art as my major. She's an artist. One feature I want to keep consistent with her is her relation to Jacob. She has messy clothes but neat, straight hair.
Jacob: He's the personification of my second favorite college major, Journalism. He's opposite from Anna in that his clothes are neat and tailored but his hair is messy.
Amy W.: She's not one of my personas but she could be if I wanted her to be. Amy W. is a mutant I saw from a dream. Well, sort of. She was mentioned and I saw her for a second. Amy was in a coma. She's a mutant with psychic abilities.
Amanda W.: Amanda W. bears the resemblance of Amy W. because she's a clone of Amy. Her "mutant gene" was altered in her cloning process and so she is able to manipulate and bend metal. (Not like Magneto.)
Angelique Von Doom I: She's my first vampire persona. She was created for a game on Myspace made by Zynga called Vampires.
Angelique Von Doom II: Angelique, cleverly named "The Second," was made for the Zynga made game, Vampire Wars, on Facebook. She's Angelique I's daughter. (They grow up so fast.)}

^{- I forgot to make a Hero Machine version of Ms. Yang, Andarena's friend.
- I'd make a Hero Machine Classic version of Bambi, but there's no minotaur head options, lol. (Not in the Super-Hero / Blaster options, anyway.)
- The rest of the ten mutants. I'm thinking they'd help the plot of the story... if I make one. So they'll most likely be added. (My Ten Mutants are a set of ten mutants, including Amanda W. but not Amy W., weirdly enough. I had a dream where all ten of them were captured in a government facility.)

My girlfriend's fursona, I used a slightly different style eyes for this one just as an experiment. She has six tails coming out of the back that arent really showing... she's a Catsune (cat + kitsune)... I guess this means our fursonas are married. Trister is her maiden name.

Could have done a little better but I guess I'm satisfied with it.

Is your character a superhero or a super villain? She considers herself to be a super-powered human as she has the ability to woo men with her voice much like Sirens did in Ancient Greece
Appearance: Ethnicity is German/Irish, She has black hair that shines like blue in sunlight, and light blue eyes. Height is naturally 5'7''
Personality: Sharon is extremely serious on the job and doesn't like it when people taunt or tease her [Especially Naminy] but when she's off the job she is more relaxed and fun-loving. Although both on the job and off the job, Sharon can get a little intimidated by others. Another feat on the job Sharon has is she can get overly confident about solving a case and her fellow agents worry that she might let it get to her head.
History: Within two years of Sharon's life, she lost both parents. Sharon's had her share of adventure throughout her early years, she knows what it's like to be a rebel, been through the foster care system and became engulfed in research science that was governmentally funded while she was in college. By the time she was 24, she had become an FBI agent.
Family: Both of Sharon's parents died when she was between the ages 9 to 11. Her mother died of cancer and her father died after getting hit by a car. Sharon has no siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles or grandparents... no family.
Religion: Agnostic
Strengths: Given the ability to woo men with her singing voice, her agency utilizes this gift to their benefit. Also, since she was a young girl, Sharon maintained athletic fitness.
Weaknesses: Like most human females, she is the victim to many strong men... and males *looks at Dinvekes*.

Name: Dinvekes; Birthdate: 493 BC; Sex: Male
Is your character a superhero or super villain? Super villain
Appearance: He has four light brown eyes, two long canines, one-foot tongue, light brown hair that shapes into long curly-like tendrils, a slightly longer skull than a human's. He's a little taller than Naminy. His finger nails are stronger than the average human's fingernails but grow out the same as a human's finger nails, thus he has to file them to give them the sharp pointy edges he uses to his advantage. [Needs a METAL filer]
Special feature: As a form of primitive self-defense, his species has "poison spikes" that are connected to their spinal cord. When he feels threatened the spikes break out of his back, this keeps predators from attacking from behind when he has a heightened sense of danger. Because his spikes are poisonous, they are deadly to his kind, his body also created anti-toxin to offset the poison and keep it from poisoning him.
Personality: His species in general are environmentalists, where they once claimed to "hear" the earth talk to them. He is self-righteous. His species was dominant to humans in Ancient Greece and so he carries that feeling of superiority to present day. Almost everything about his species is vile and violent naturally. He lacks some capacity to bear emotion, but is not completely emotionless.
History: Dinvekes was born in Ancient Greece. His in-human mother was killed in a quarrel when he was still a baby and a woman passing by heard his cries and took him into her home as a surrogate mother. When he became 13, he found out about his true species and left her family to learn more about what he really was. Within 5 years he became well accustomed to the nature and tradition of his species. He later traveled to Greenland where he became frozen in ice for over 2,000 years. In a recent event when the Greenland ice shelves cracked, the melt water freed him from his icy prison. [His species's survival is similar to the micro-organism, the waterbear] After climbing from crevice he hunted and killed three scientists that were closest to where he was and then hopped onto a ship and made it to the U.S., where he wreaked havoc killing people and eating them. Sharon was one of the few FBI agents to take on the case that she later found involved him and exposed his true form.
Family: Females in his species are the dominant sex; they kill their mates after getting pregnant to keep them from killing the young. [So that's when his father died...] His mother was brutally killed after a conflict arose with another overly-jealous female within his species when he was still a baby and so he got adopted into a human family. The human couple couldn't have children of their own, and though the husband protested the adoption of a vile creature that may grow up to one day kill them, he eventually let it slide. His human parents are long-since dead. [They died of old age]
Religion: Environmentalism... to the extreme. His species believes they're here on this earth to repress species that can prove to be disasterous to the sensitive balance of Earth's natural environment. [So they kind of eat them.]
Strengths: Being a dominant species has a lot of benefits.
Weaknesses: His species doesn't have too many weaknesses as their cells regenerate faster than a human's cell can, thus he doesn't bear scars from any battle. A substantially large amount of blood loss can kill him, and humans in Ancient Greece found it was very easy to kill them by cutting their heads off, however they manage to kill the human before the human can do so. While the poison in their backs is deadly, their bodies create anti-toxin to offset it, although sometimes their body doesn't create enough anti-toxin in soon enough time and some have died from their own poison.
Tidbits: Being superior in species, Dinvekes only let our government capture him on purpose. He figured it would be the only way to keep them off his back [figure of speech] He'll listen to Sharon, but his temperament is much like a cat, where he'll "only come when he wants to." But still, Sharon is the only human he'll obey for the most part of the time. He doesn't LOVE her, he just WANTS her. [There's a difference.] However, he doesn't go too far out of his way to repress his violent nature for her.

Name: Emily; Birthdate: TBD [Currently 9]
Appearance: Slightly big nose, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, height changes as she is still growing.
Personality: Imaginative, hyper young girl. She likes the color pink, flowers, and going to the park. Emily loves her uncle Naminy as a second father. She also likes watching family films.
History: Emily is Naminy's sister's daughter. Naminy wasn't a part of her life at first because he went to war.
Family: Emily has two active parents and her uncle, Naminy, visits frequently.
Religion: Catholic

Name: Andy; Birthdate: TBD [Around Sharon's age]; Job: Researcher
Appearance: She looks almost exactly like Sharon, except she has dark brown hair and light brown eyes and her skin is more orange-like than Sharon's. She often wears the same or similar outfits: [link]
Personality: Fun-loving and sweet natured, she's more of a down to earth kind of girl.
History: Andy works in Naminy's firm. She's one of the very few colleagues Naminy prefers to talk to on a friendly basis. Most other employees in his firm who know him suspect he only likes Andy because she reminds him of Sharon, however he had known Andy before he'd met Sharon.
Religion: Unknown
Strengths: Her personality, her intelligence
Weaknesses: Lack of physical strength

Name: Agent Gandara; Birthdate: TBD [Is in mid-50's]; Job: Agent of the FBI
Appearance: Despite the fact that he is past the middle of his life, Agent Gandara maintains an appealing physical appearance and his hair has not greyed quite yet. He has grey-brown hair and brown eyes.
Personality: He acts like a wise old man. Fellow agents in his HQ call him "Agent Grandpa" as a joke but still respect him.
History: He's one of the agents on Sharon's teams for the bulk of her case work. [More of a supporting character]

Name: Agent Moore; Birthdate: TBD [early 20's, no younger than 23]; Job: Agent of the FBI
Appearance: Agent Moore has dark brown hair that he keeps cut no longer than 5 or 6 inches usually. He also has dark brown eyes. He has a strong physique.
Personality: He's a little flamboyant and very energetic. He's sometimes careless on the job and colleagues flame him for that. He's also a very caring and compassionate friend.
History: Agent Moore is still a "newb" to the way things work in the agency. He works with Sharon as a member of her team for the bulk of her assignments along with Agent Gandara. He cares for Sharon as a friend and Naminy once suspected they'd make a great couple.

Name: Bill Jinks; Birthdate: TBD [Around Naminy's age]; Job: Author
Appearance: He has dirt-blonde hair and a bushy beard that's a little darker than his hair. He also has blue eyes.
Personality: One of Naminy's buddies, he teases Naminy on some things, and can usually act like a frat boy. But even he knows when to mellow down.
Religion: Catholic

Name: My Android [As of now, I do not wish to dish out his name]
Age: Unable to be determined; He's a robot; Designed sex: Male; Origin: Scientific lab programs
Appearance: Being one of the first products of a federally funded program to engineer highly advanced robots, he has many flaws and is incapable of some basic things while being highly capable of others. He doesn't have eyes however he has highly advanced sensory perception which is almost an equivalent to having eyes. His scientists designed ears, eyebrows, lips, and a nose for him, all of which are unmovable. He also sports two scars, cuts in the metal surface of his face and "skull." Because he doesn't have skin, his metal exterior is a light metal grey. He wears a specially designed trench coat.
Personality: As an android, he is emotionless, however he is able to understand how emotions work. His central learning system is a little flawed in that he doesn't learn as well as most androids built after him. Another flaw he has is in his defense mechanism that can be triggered at random moments or when the time does not call for it.
History: The android was one of the first few to be made in mid-2000's, thus he was one of the few that had the most bugs in his creation. Creation of Androids was a tedious decade-long project and the order of which each android was made is based by their name and number, my android's name starts with an A, his line was one of the first of several androids to be made. Androids' names ONLY begin with VOWELS: A,E,I,O,U. Bioroids were worked on second, and their project was done in a greater span of time, their order works the same way as androids, however only with CONSONANTS. He escaped the lab from which he was created taking the bioroid Charis with him.
Strengths: Defense system [when working properly]
Weaknesses: Bugs in his system that require constant maintenance, flaws in his defense mechanism, inability to learn quickly [not that he's really slow or like someone who is mentally challenged, it just takes him a couple or few examples to grasp an idea], Water

Name: Charis; Age: Unable to be determined; Designed sex: Female; Type: Bioroid
Appearance: Being second-generation bioroid, Charis has the functioning of skin cell tissue working cooperatively with her metallic skeletal structure and body mobility. Her skin is light, and sometimes seems a little grey, but for the most part it is a soft off-white. Charis usually wears a t-shirt and jeans and fits in well with most any environment. She has brown hair with bangs that fits around her ears and has dark blue eyes.
Personality: Due to a system the scientists used for their androids that had not been better updated for bioroids, Charis was traumatized. They used "thermal strips" that had electro-magnetic forces that inhibit a robot's basic functions and makes it easier for scientists to read a robot's database to see if there's improvements or flaws. Since the system was designed for androids, scientists didn't predict the negative impacts of the system for bioroids that can feel "pain." It's because of this system Charis is more reclusive, shy, inward, quiet, and anti-social.
History: The android crossed paths with Charis as he was escaping the lab and instead of leaving her there, he had a non-mechanic sense to take her with him. She proves to be helpful as she is capable of fixing his faulty wiring when it needs repairs.
Strengths: Outer appearance of a normal human helps her blend in, biological life that's fixed to work with her system allows for her to tolerate water
Weaknesses: Can drown, her trauma

Name: Cindy; Age: 18-20's; Type: Human female
Appearance: Cindy has black hair and artificially altered eye color [purple] She usually wears one-piece dresses that are designed to look torn on the ends and have interesting collar designs along with a belt with a skull buckle. She is often to be perceived as goth with her outfit and pale white skin.
Personality: Suffering from dementia, Cindy has an altered outlook on life. She fawns over the random nonsensical items she perceives to be beautiful and doesn't get very many friends because of her odd nature.
History: On the run from the science research agency that created them, Charis and the android encountered Cindy who allowed them to hide in her home for a couple nights before they went on their way again. Later in the story, they visit her occasionally.
Religion: That of one that was structured by her government in the future featuring more than one god with different "jobs." [Gods are often referred to as "The Gods of Ten"]

Name: Alex Sage; Age: 19; Species: Cat humanoid
Is your character a superhero or a super villain? A little bit of both
Appearance: Ordinary cat humanoid, Alex also has big intensive eyes
Personality: He's a little sly, devious, and manipulative. At times he can be nice and caring but for the most part he is only interested in things if they will benefit him.
History: [OMFG, there's just too much to say...] Alex has a sister named Jewel, she is about 4 years younger than him. When they were children, she was the one that was manipulative, a trickster and was considered to have "devilish powers" while Alex was mellow, collected and had "godly powers" that he received when he was 13. Over the years their roles between "good" and "evil" slowly switched and now it is Jewel who tries to be more good while Alex abuses his power.

Name: Crazy Bob; Age: 19; Species: Cat Humanoid
Is your character a superhero or a super villain? He is undefined, he has a large amount of poitical power but isn't corrupt and abusive of his power over others.
Appearance: He has the defining feature of one permanently dilated eye, [left eye] though he can still see out of it. Owning the special ability of shape-shifting, Crazy Bob can alter parts of his body or grow new parts at will or at random.
Personality: At first he was as his name suggests, "crazy," however he mellowed down and his mind became more stable over the years. He doesn't have much of a temper, however it's recommended to stay on his good side. He is often bored by protocol.
History: Since he was young, Crazy Bob had the power to shape-shift. Unfortunately this power was uncontrollable and so he shape-changed too much and frightened his parents. The instability of his body cause his young mind to become mentally unstable and so he was placed into an institution at a very young age. Later on he escaped the institution and managed to elude them for several years. He eventually managed to control the most of his power although sometimes it may get the best of him. The capability of shape-shifting gained Crazy Bob his political power.

Personalities: They're not drones or fickle, some are smarter than they act, but mostly they just love Crazy Bob for the way he is and not because of his power.
History: Not much of a history for the little group of drooling fan-catgirls. They act like harem girls or pleasure slaves although Crazy Bob doesn't require their presence. [Like... at all...] He doesn't disrespect them and tolerates their constant presence but much prefers it when they're absent. Sometimes he holds meaningful conversation with them.

Azure: [Girl with black hair, and frilly skirt] Oldest version of the group, she's the version of my inner self when I'm sad, created in 10th grade.
Ariana: [Sweater-shirt, skirt, and oval glasses, along with bangs and straight hair] Known as "Iconic Me" back in 10th grade. Can be seen here in her simplest form: [link]
Andarena: [buff shortie with red jump-suit top and crown] Created back in Sumer 2007, Andarena is considered "Queen of the Eight Floor," which is why she gets a crown. In reality though, she doesn't wear a crown. She carries a magical staff sometimes though and does wear that specific outfit from the planet she is from.
Angie Carmon: [Bobcat-girl with yellow shirt] Inspired by *OwlGem's little "fursona" I gave it some thought about what animal I might take on, and dating back to middle school where I had a huge obsession over cats (See: [link] ) and decided to make her a cat person, she has ears, whiskers, fangs but no tail, she is like a bobcat.

Andarena withdraws herself from society because she doesn't want attention however people seem to be magnetized to her anyway. She's thick-headed and doesn't like planning out action but just do it.
Angie Carmon has a mean disposition and enjoys killing/eating birds and making children cry.
I like to go to school, stay at home, do stuff on my computer and draw a lot. I also enjoy my friends and like to keep a consistent daily routine.
Aric is athletic, he likes to play football, soccer, tennis and volleyball. This gives him a strong and healthy physique. However he is not a stereotypical jock, he doesn't talk much but can warm up to people once he learns more about them.
Ariana is more outspoken. She likes to say what she thinks when she thinks it. She also does whatever she feels like doing at the moment too. However she's not blunt in her execution in conversations with people.

I swear, I love this song to pieces. This picture has been in my head for days, because me and Arielle are partnered up in this song - and yeap, this is Rina and Arielle's under construction fursona. I just.. couldn't resist, haha.
Based on our positions in "Waiting On The World To CHange" I'm also drawing a pic of Rina, Arielle's 'sona, and Katy's sona... Drew it, want to redo it, yeah.
I think I want to actually fix up this picture.
We're actually back to back in this song. 'Speaking' with our hands, except at chorus, where we sway forward, snap fingers, sway back, snap fingers, it goes on. And then at the 'la la's and whatnot, we get to put our arms around eachother and sway and snap fingers... joooy. lmao. It's rather amusing really. We also get to stop, look at eachother, point at eachother and shake the fingers - while saying 'cause you're my everything.' ... We can't do that without laughing everytime, I swear.
